Well, Subban was playing pretty well until the Blues actually put a couple shots on goal.
He was playing well until they got any shots on net. I'd say you almost have to get him back in there again soon. If not, would leave far too many questions until next October. If they continue to fall out of contention I'd expect you'll see a lot of him in the next couple months.

What? This is ridiculous. The Bruins had possession for like 10 seconds before the fight. There was no original penalty. WTF?

As logical as this is, Chiarelli and, maybe, Julien entered this stretch with the Sword of Damocles over their heads, and starting anyone but Tuukka in net from here on out is daring Charlie to cut the thread. At the end of the day, the team is flawed this year, but too many people are invested in doing desperate things to somehow make it work. I'd really like Charlie to get Chiarelli and Julien in the office, tell them they have carte blanche to make this team better for next year, and let them make moves accordingly.

I thought the Caron hit was pretty bad, but that's the second time this week the Bruins were assessed an additional penalty on the initial play well after play ended, with no arm in the air before.

It's fucking horseshit, and after 5 years of it, I want Claude to finally lose his shit at how badly this team gets fucked.

Fucking your GM in public is a cute thing that appeals to people who think losses are always a function of effort, but it basically guarantees the guy will have no leverage in the trade market. Complete stupidity. So I'm not too optimistic.

I love how Ott knew exactly what the Bruins were going to do and was just hanging out on the wall just waiting for the puck to come to him so he could clear it. Good times.

So, this road trip will destroy Krejci, Subban and the team's playoff hopes.

Have to give them credit - in a game of shit or get off the pot, they shit all over themselves.

So the last three games have included the worst overtime goal allowed of the season, then the worst shootout of the season, then tonight the worst period of the season.

What will be next when they visit the Blackhawks on Sunday?

They'll probably win 4-0.

I doubt we'll ever see Subban in a Bruins sweater again.

Can you imagine them ever starting him again? There'd be a player revolt.

Still, nobody's going to trade a glass of warm piss for him.

They should probably put him back in to start the third period tonight, depending on what they think of his makeup. Let him salvage some pride and confidence and self-respect, and see if he can get his career save percentage over 50%. This game is over anyway.

"they are fighting for their playoff lives"

Are they though? Sure doesn't look much like a team fighting for anything. Kind of looks like a team going through the motions.

I might have missed something but when exactly did they lose trust in Svedberg?

2 games in 2015 - a shutout and the bad game against Dallas.

They got hot and decided with the All Star break mixed in they could ride Rask into the ground.
