I've been loosely following the game on mute... Did they intentionally throw at Acuna? Seems like the game flipped at that point

No. He took one in the back pocket and as most 22 year olds would responded angrily. Marlins have enough problems with base runners and bombs.

Melancon is still the closer of the Bravos I see.

Why can't we get relievers like that

I don't know how these pitching staffs are going to survive three more rounds with almost no off days, games are going to look like football scores.

Astros pulling away with another solo shot.

If the first round was best-of-three, this round is best-of-five, and LCS round is best of seven, can we have a best-of-nine world series?

They did that at home in a very loud park, don't see how they could do it in a quiet Dodger Stadium.
You're almost certainly right, but the piped-in crowd noise is so loud I can't hear much beyond it. And I was mostly expressing my annoyance with their beating Oakland so handily.

Astros-Yankees ALCS would be the least liked series since the Yankees-Mets World Series

This is a different Astros team. their star bats are producing and their starters / rovers are in shutdown mode right now.

the A's have to be missing Chapman

The T-Mobile ad behind home plate showing through the pitcher's hat is pretty funny.

The true definition of pick your poison.........I won't watch two seconds of it unless a meteor is predicted to hit the stadium.........The Yankees burped and farted their way into the playoffs and guaranteed they'll mash their way to the WS, the pitching staffs they're facing are in tatters, no Verlander/Cole/Greinke gauntlets to worry about, just a bunch of tomato cans serving up meatballs, just wonderful.

Are you giving up hope for Tampa this early? I mean, if they go down 0-2 tonight they are probably dead ducks. But their pitching isn’t in tatters.

Ditto. Literally no one to root for in that matchup. I'll watch the NL, and be back in for the World Series, unless it looks like the Yankees are really likely to be dishing out a beatdown.

Walker Buehler has large testicles. Couple of huge K’s at 99 mph to get out of it.

Wow! Clevinger is out with an injury after one inning and two pitches!
