You know what they say... no matter what, overreact wildly.I’m gonna overreact wildly to this game and decide that whoever wins it is my favorite for the #2 seed in the East. (I would have given Philly a shot, too, but I’m overreacting wildly to them being down double digits to the Cavs).
I agree. Still think Smart would fit better coming off the bench, but whatever.Brogdon works better next to White than Smart does, I think.
White is a pest.Brogdon works better next to White than Smart does, I think.
Agree. I think the one on the trading block, if anyone is this year, will be Pritchard, much as I like him.Makes a lot of smart plays. Don't trade DW
We have almost never seen much of a JB/JT two man game, if they could figure it out it would be absolutely lethal given how much defensive attention they both require. The Brown/Tatum pick and roll at the end of the half resulted in an uncontested layup for Tatum. Would not be surprised to see that a lot more this season. This team is going to be a wagon.
the switching is intuitive now, no mix-upsToronto starters have only 36 points on 39 shots. The Celtics defense even without Robert Williams is already really good
Me too, especially after such a rocky off-season.I am giddy about how good they look.
Brogdon has set the tone for that, I think. But it's definitely contagious. It seems like everyone, including the Jays, are thinking pass first
Tatum 2-12 from three in the pre-season.Beat the brakes off Toronto’s normal rotation with Tatum building a house from deep.
He’s not, but he’s going to shoot a really high percentage. Hauser very much looks like he belongs in the NBA. He’s not a good defender, but he seems like he understands the defense and moves well enough he can play, at least in the regular season (whether he’s playable in the playoffs is not something I’m comfortable predicting at this stage). If Hauser is going to shoot 80% from 3 this year, this team is going places.
