B's earned this win as well. Almost 2-1 in expected goals. Ullmark needs to perform better. Hope Marchand recovers quickly.
He pulled himself off a powerplay shift cause he couldn't play through it. Then a couple of other times he was out there for a try and came right back out. So he has to be in some loads of pain or loss of function considering what hockey players normally play through

He also threw some shade at DPS over handling of dirty plays on Marchand (roughly paraphrasing, "maybe he'll get some extra time off for it, or maybe he won't, they usually move on when it's Marchand on the other end of the play.").
Yeah, I have no fucking problem with Cassidy going all in on them here. The fact that the closest ref didn’t even fucking call it is ridiculous, and likely related to the fact that it’s Marchand.
It’s the least consistently officiated league, and it’s not even close, IMHO. It’s all the extrinsic shit. None of them just call the game. They have to even things up, keep control, but let them play, and how much time is left? Is it the playoffs? Who did it? Who was it done to?
It’s unsurprising that they suck when they’re working from six or more different baselines.
