If I didn’t know better, I’d swear it’s happened five or six times tonight. He seems off.
I posted a question right before the goal cause he's fanned on a ton recently asking if he changed curve on his stick recently or something since he's been fanning a ton...

Agreed - if you can play 5-4 for 2 minutes you can do it for 5 seconds while a guy grabs his stick.
The stick didn’t exactly go far either. I could see if it went down ice, but it dropped basically where he dropped it if I recall. Seems odd to not just get it.
In all fairness I’d guess that the majority of any teams goals allowed is because of this.
What’s weird about Mac is that he’s still such a strong skater, especially at his size, it’s weird to see a guy like that completely lose some fundamental skills.
I feel like we’re going to learn McAvoy is playing without a thumb or something after the series. Because otherwise I don’t understand what’s happening.

Shoulder is honestly more likely. He’s had a number of problems in the past.
