Is it bad to walk in a run to get to Mike Trout?

Maybe should just go to bed. Everything looks 1000% worse than it did 40 minutes ago.

Get fucked, Anaheim. You didn’t deserve Ohtani and you don’t deserve Trout. Clown shoes ass organization.

For all those suggesting Grissom for SS. He isn't a good enough fielder. He is a bat first 2B.

While Grissom's bat is impressive, his defense needs some work. His defense cost him a shot at being Atlanta's everyday shortstop last season, and the Braves had him play some left field in the Puerto Rican Winter League over the offseason. (Which Grissom was open to doing.)

Grissom has played 44 games in the majors at second, committing four errors for a .974 fielding percentage. In 21 games at shortstop, he had a .914 fielding percentage, committing six errors in 70 chances.

Not sure why you leave him in there too walk in a run.
I don't believe that was the outcome they were hoping for by leaving him in. Its early in the season and Crawford struggled getting deep into games last year. Let him work on things early. These games are of more value developmentally than in terms of W/L imo.

"Left shoulder pain", not that it's surprising, but confirms it is the shoulder and not something else. It looked like a collar bone to me at first with the way he was writhing, to be honest. But I am definitely not a doctor.

If Kutter wants to start, he’s got to find a way to get through five, at least. Last year, they constantly pulled him in the fifth- I think letting him try to work through it a bit is defensible. I mean, it’s been pretty clear that the goal is for the starters to at least go five.

Hey that’s more informative than in hockey— in the NHL they would just say he has an upper-body injury.

I agree with this. They have to figure out if he can get there and a game with a 4-0 lead against a team they aren't likely to be competing for a playoff spot with is as good a time to do it as any. If he can't get through it at any point this season, then next offseason become quite a bit more expensive, I think.

One thing I haven't seen mentioned, for those advocating for Rafaela at SS (I Am among those who think this is the best course), remember he took a ball off his wrist tonight also. He looks fine but it could linger.
