No, it hasn't. His explanation was bullshit. He got it to honor all his family that has been in the military...but no one told him for 3+ years what it really means? If that's the truth, his family, military or not, sucks. ( I may be misremembering his apology/explanation, though. It's not worth my time to go back to rehash it)
I'm glad he has "learned" from this experience, but I still doubt that he didn't know it's true meaning until the day he got drafted.
And yes, I still wish the Patriots never drafted anyone with a tattoo like this. That will never change. I don't think that's an irrational wish.
