Announcers, while saying he should have caught it, also faulted Lindor for not being in position to help or even call him off when he saw Bay having trouble

Kessinger in at SS after Pena hurts himself hitting, throws it away almost immediately and the Angels win.

Moving the Line
This was a really weird ball live. Looked from my POV, just behind home, slightly first base side that I thought it was going to be a routine foul ball to the section above where I was sitting.

Mets fans all around me were stating that heads needed to roll and calling for Buck’shead. Absolutely brutal. I felt like Bart Simpson trying tomacco for the first time watching that whole game unfold from the 8th on: Disgusting game but addicting.

Top of the first, Steven Kwan goes deep – just his 3rd of the year. Bottom of the first, Marcus Semien hits one deep and Kwan reaches over the wall... but needed one more inch of glove to keep it in the webbing... tied 1-1.

Giants come out of the break hot and sweep Pittsburgh. That’s going to be an interesting team to watch before the deadline.
Although the Pirates have been as bad as anyone since their hot start. They started 20-8 and are just 21-44 since.

The Rangers turned a 3-6 double-play on a foul ball because plays in front of the bag aren't reviewable. Stop $%*@ing this up MLB... why aren't you interested in getting every batted ball called correctly?

I gotta be honest, something just seems off about Globe Life Field. I know why they left the old barn, but it had a character to it.
I haven't seen a lot of it on TV yet (even this weekend I was spared from watching half the series), but I can't fathom what possessed them to build such an ugly monstrosity. It's dark, dank, looks like a warehouse on steroids and for some reason they can't even get the camera view of the action as close or as low as every other baseball stadium. Of course, it fits in perfectly with the aesthetics of DFW.

I definitely jinxed the Padres when I said this, sorry everyone:

Side note to the recent Angels drama: don't count out the Padres yet! They've way underplayed their pythag by a lot and a lot of their guys have been better lately (Manny Machado, for instance - his numbers still look bad because his April/May were so terrible, but he's been decent since getting off the IL). They've got a lot of ground to make up, but the teams ahead of them have problems of their own. Plus you know they'll be aggressive at the deadline if they're even a little close.

Astros come back on LAA again, down 7-3 after 7 and 7-5 after 8, now up 8-7 top 9 after a Bregman HR.
