My very simplistic take is that a league that's selling an entertainment product and trying to sell its stars shouldn't go out of its way to split hairs on scoring plays; just err on the side of "what a great catch!" instead of scrutinizing every little bobble or trying to apply concepts like "football moves" and "surviving the catch." Yes some teams will occasionally feel like they were jobbed, but it should all even out over time.I would like to see what would happen if the replay system only allowed full-speed replay reviews at multiple angles. I feel like the big issue is we're slowing down a super-fast game into a microscopic replay millisecond-by-millisecond. If it's inconclusive, it's inconclusive and we move on.
