Anyone on D named Jones

The much-maligned Matt Patricia gets one from me. A. The O-line was great again B. The playcalling/gameplan was perfectly cromulent C. The rookie QB looked prepared and composed.

1. Judon. Really set the tone with his pressure, and the strip sack was the biggest play in the game.
2. Going to cheat here and say J.Jones in the #2 slot. Jack’s fantastic pick and some impressive plays made by Jon. On a 3rd and 2 running play, Jon made a great tackle for a 7 yard loss leading to the strip sack TD. Jon also came up a tackled a receiver behind the line on a 4th down pass.
3. Zappe. They kept it simple for him and he mostly threw to his first read. But his passes were accurate and he made several plus plays.
4. Rhamondre. 25-161. Made a lot of would be tacklers look silly.

Offensive line- outstanding job all day on run blocking and pass protection.

RS- ran like a bull all day.

Zappah- pretty calm, cool, and effective for his first start. Great to have what appears to be viable back up.

Judon/Jones/Defense in general. Made big plays when they needed them, minimized big plays against, and shut out an offense that had been rolling. A great day all the way around.

The jury is still out (he still doesn’t have much experience) but I agree Mac could be a solid backup for awhile

Was Rham on the field for every offensive (non-kneel down) snap after D. Harris went out? Incredible workload.
Actually too much. Seemed to be on fumes at times. Makes little sense to dress so many WR and so few backs when you are featuring the run. Hopefully he didn’t get nicked up taking useless snaps in the 4th quarter.

Wasn't watching the game live - did Agholor even see the field after he lateralled to the Lions D? Or was he benched?

Does he even get a conditional 7th at this point in a trade?

BB gets goat horns after every loss, seems like he should get a ball after a whole team W

Just read he is 5-0 with QBs drafted outside the first round making their first NFL start as HC of the NEP (Brady, Cassel, Jimmy, Jacoby, Zappe).

The rest of the NFL is 30-80.

But it was all Brady.

The pass rush from the linebackers.
Relentless. Against a very good O-line.
Judon is a beast but was this the best game of the year that we’ve seen from Uche and McMillan? Goff was rushing his throws and scrambling a lot.
You can start to see this team showcase that speed that was so absent last year.

Stevenson, Meyers, Dugger, Jack Jones, Judon, and Zappe. Zappe’s pocket presence in this game vs vs GB was night and day different. He wasn’t hesitating on throws today like he was last week. Playing against a terrible defense and not coming in off the bench helped a ton. The offensive line was dominant too. I just didn’t get a chance to see who stood above the rest. I’ll take the L on Zappe this week.

A big game ball to the Lions' coaching staff. What an atrocious effort on their part, giving a rookie QB short fields and little-to-no pressure throughout the game. The Pats D was terrific throughout, but my god, that team is a wreck.

Real game balls to Rham, Bailey and the whole receiving corps. I had this earmarked as an easy win preseason, but when Mac went down, I was worried this would be a game indicating real descent into the basement. Exceptional work all around.

Clearly he is making a huge error not drafting more QB's.

Is there a link to that?

Only 115 QBs drafted outside of the first round have started? Maybe that's right, just trying to get my head around it.

That is awesome, but I'd like a bit more context.
I can't tell if he's joking, but I hope so, because I believe this is the only team to ever average 35 points in its first 4 games lol.

Rham, Judon, Meyers and Duggar stand out. O-line as well. Coaching staff for putting the team in the best position to win.

Zappe looked fine, he probably deserves a game ball given the circumstances.

2007 Pats averaged 37.

2013 Broncos, 2018 Chiefs too.

Not just BB the coach, but Steve Belichick and...how about BB the GM? The past 2-3 drafts are looking quite good. This year's might be special.

Uh, 2007 Pats?
Sure, ok, there have probably been a few. Still, it's not much of a stat. How many teams have averaged 35 points per game their first 4 weeks?

It was a great defensive performance whatever the history.

I don't think a lot, that's why I was wondering about the context.

This is some weird math.
