Might as well start a thread about it

Yes, Thursday the 12th.I think I saw the full schedule will be release next week
I would have to imagine that's backwards since the Jaguars play a home game there every year. The resurgent Broncos agreed to lose one of their (only) 8 home games?
Yes, I was hoping that Buffalo was headed to Sri Lanka the week before their home game against the Pats.No AFC East competitors headed overseas. That's a shame.
Are those games, and the Thursday night AP games at least picked up and available over the air in local markets?, or a free stream for local markets? The creep towards making more inventory available to less people seems to be accelerating. That Jags/Broncos London game is an ESPN+ stream only.
But the NFL will tell you it's all about the fans. Are those games, and the Thursday night AP games at least picked up and available over the air in local markets?, or a free stream for local markets? The creep towards making more inventory available to less people seems to be accelerating.
Not sure about the ESPN+ game but according to this Prime games will be available for the local markets. Are those games, and the Thursday night AP games at least picked up and available over the air in local markets?, or a free stream for local markets? https://www.cordcuttersnews.com/stream-the-nfl-on-amazon-prime-video/#:~:text=Viewers in the local markets, games on Amazon Prime Video. It’s worth noting that as of the 2022 football season, Amazon will be the exclusive home of Thursday Night Football. The games will no longer be shown on FOX. Viewers in the local markets of participating teams will still be able to watch the games on local channels. All other viewers will need to view the games on Amazon Prime Video. This new arrangement could lead to a bounty of new NFL content on the streaming service, so keep your eyes peeled for newly announced shows in the next few years.
Thanks for that. I would be royally pissed if I were a Pats fan in the market who didn’t have AP, and couldn’t watch one of only 17 games. And it’s still shitty business for out of market fans in that boat. Not sure about the ESPN+ game but according to this Prime games will be available for the local markets.

I'm similarly waiting for the AZ game. My son begins college in AZ this year and I plan to fly down and do the game with him, provided its a weekend he is thereI just want to find out when the Pats are headed to Vegas. We have a group of about 20 planning on going.
UmmmEdit: In fact nine of the ten traveling teams (all save Broncos) are from the NFC. It's almost like they planned it that way.
I mean less than ten years ago there were no Thursday night games other than Thanksgiving and no Sunday morning games so you got to see 4 or 5 games a week unless you had Sunday Ticket. 151 million people have Amazon Prime. This is more football from where I sit.Are those games, and the Thursday night AP games at least picked up and available over the air in local markets?, or a free stream for local markets? The creep towards making more inventory available to less people seems to be accelerating.
The NFL is a lot of things. But they are not a shitty business. Thanks for that. I would be royally pissed if I were a Pats fan in the market who didn’t have AP, and couldn’t watch one of only 17 games. And it’s still shitty business for out of market fans in that boat.
Turn of phrase. I meant bad for those fans. The NFL is a lot of things. But they are not a shitty business.
Makes sense. Honestly I'd like to see them get rid of the Thanksgiving night game, and replace it with like a 3pm and 6:30 game on both Friday and Saturday that weekend. There's a rumor there will be a Black Friday game on Amazon either this year or next year.
Usually implies there was sarcasm in the first place. If you had said "eight of the nine traveling teams" ... then there would have been sarcasm presentSarcasm meter batteries need checking!
I hope not. That Saturday really should just be a college football day.Makes sense. Honestly I'd like to see them get rid of the Thanksgiving night game, and replace it with like a 3pm and 6:30 game on both Friday and Saturday that weekend.
Kind of a shitty thing to do to CFB, but they would kill in the ratings with it. And I'd be watching.Makes sense. Honestly I'd like to see them get rid of the Thanksgiving night game, and replace it with like a 3pm and 6:30 game on both Friday and Saturday that weekend.

OSU/Michigan is almost aways the Saturday after Thanksgiving. And usually a few other interesting games, like ND/USC or ND/Stanford, which can often have playoff implications. It's usually a pretty decent slate on Saturday, at least.Does CFB still have important games that weekend? I thought the conference championship games were a week or two later and there was only a limited slate Thanksgiving weekend
I prefer the opposite. Give me 5+ games on Turkey Day. CFB is for Fri/Sat. Would prefer CFB have some more on Fri.Makes sense. Honestly I'd like to see them get rid of the Thanksgiving night game, and replace it with like a 3pm and 6:30 game on both Friday and Saturday that weekend.
The entire geographic rivalry seriesDoes CFB still have important games that weekend? I thought the conference championship games were a week or two later and there was only a limited slate Thanksgiving weekend
denver is not loseing a homegame they were going to have to go to Jaxl anyway what bugs me is espn+ only they could had done espn 2 and espn+ but Jax should just move to london anywayThe resurgent Broncos agreed to lose one of their (only) 8 home games?
Black Friday has not been a big day for CFB lately in terms of marquee games. There were some rivalry games, but not any of the big ones. Iowa/Nebraska, Colorado/Utah, UNC/NC St, Missouri/Arkansas, and WSU/Washington were the highlights this past year if that tells you anything. The biggest games of Thanksgiving weekend in CFB are on Saturday. Bedlam, Iron Bowl, ND/Stanford, The Ax game, Clemson/SC, Oregon/OSU, Florida St/UF, and of course OSU/Michigan.Does CFB still have important games that weekend? I thought the conference championship games were a week or two later and there was only a limited slate Thanksgiving weekend
There's all kinds of leaks out there, but I wouldn't trust them. Teams themselves don't see schedules until tomorrow. Tomorrow morning there should start to be some credible leaks coming out. We'll all know the Pats schedule by this time tomorrow is my guess.Anyone hear any leaks yet? Tomorrow is release day.
I've seen that and I've also seen Pats at Jets Week 1 SNF because Week 1 falls on 9/11.I'm hearing Pats in Vegas for opening weekend.
This is exactly my point. There's so much misinformation out there. The real leaks come tomorrow. The supposed Jets schedule leak has them at New England in Week 16 at 1pm.
New England will host Cincinnati Week 16.i heard on twitter NE @ VEGAS week 1 SNF Vegas first game will be sun night aga NE or mon night aga denver denver first 2 games will be on road
Week 16 NE @ PITT
