Only play is to blast the kick right at Jax front line and lateral ball all the way to end zone.
That was what I thought. They would need a fumble by Jax or off someone’s chest.
Yes, the execution was terrible, but you don’t kick the fg there. You throw into the endzone.
They probably wasted a minute of that drive sauntering to the line of scrimmage and milling around before the snap on various plays. They had given up already on that drive, if they had tried they probably could have given themselves an extra on-side kick shot.
Onsides does no good, since you can’t advance. Their only chance was kicking it into the endzone and somehow recovering.

Exactly. It is about getting a score immediately and not wasting the entire clock trying to get 7.
No onside attempt because they we're trying to hit a rocket off a Jax player. Jax player dove out of the way of the ball so it wouldn't hit him.
I think he was trying to slam it into a jag, otherwise they can't advance it so the game would end even if they recovered it
