As a Bulls fan, I don't really mind the Butler deal...other than the fact that the guys I like at #7 are the Guards, and they just brought two back...
If Monk is there I'll be pissed of they pass on him because they have LaVine (coming off injury) now.

it's pretty bad. LaVine will never be as good as Butler, and is injured. Dunn is meh and a 7th pick is decent but they flipped the 16th for it in the process. Celtics equivalent would have been like #3, Brown and Smart.
Brown may be on the table but they're not redundant in today's NBA. Both flexible players that can play multiple positions on the wing.
Really hope Danny is not in on George.
I gotta say, these 18-19 years Olds have been extremely gracious and sound like they all have their heads on straight

LaVine is a good young player but Dunn looks to be a bit of a bust. Plus the Bulls sent 16 back to the T-Wolves. That's brutal.

Protected 1-8 in'19, 1-6 in '20 and Unprotected in '21. They have a couple years to implode and aren't getting any younger.
On Stevens' team there's four positions: ball handlers, wings, swings, bigs. Tatum & Brown can (potentially) play both wing and swing ... no problem getting them both on the floor
Real glad to get Tatum but man, what a boring draft so far after all the rumors and hype - .every pick according to mock drafts
Different philosophies I guess, but when your team is no where near contention just go for best player available. Isaac has arguably higher upside than any player in the draft other than Ball / Fultz.

Wilbon on talking about how the Bulls should draft a shooter. Like, who cares? Seriously, if youre a bad team, what is the difference if you draft a 3 pt shooter or not? Just get a good player and figure it out later.
I disagree. There are very few bangers who can put up a double-double down low in the league. I'd take him for 20 mil/year without hesitation.

Right, but again, that works against us. It's only super valuable once they implode. A pick in the back end of the lottery or out of it doesn't do much, or at least certainly isn't our most valuable asset. If they shit the bed this season, then that's a while other conversation.
