This could be quite an epic game. Hope it lives up to the billing it will get!

This needs to happen. Have been waiting for the karma train to show up with Chapman. No way this doesn't end with a walk off against Chapman.
Nap isn't taking him yard!Nap takes Chap yard to win it in 10.
Not-that-Fun fact: the Boston Red Sox have never won a World Series Game 7. They are 0-5, in 1912 (won game 8!), 1946, 1967, 1975 and of course 1986. The Boston Americans won game 7 (and 8) in 1903. 1915, 16 and 18 were won in 5, 5, and 6.These fan bases are going to be gripping hard. Makes me very happy that we didn't have a World Series game 7 in 2004.
I assume you've got your 7th or 8th inning guy (don't recall who those are for the Cubs) mentally prepared to enter the game at the first sign of trouble, with Lester entering the game the following inning (or maybe the inning after that). If Lester comes in to the game it has to be with no one on base so that already limits where he can get in so maybe Lackey will be the first guy out with Lester getting the next clean inning.
Good pitchers for the Cubs are Chapman, Strop, Monty, and Rondon, no?I assume you've got your 7th or 8th inning guy (don't recall who those are for the Cubs) mentally prepared to enter the game at the first sign of trouble, with Lester entering the game the following inning (or maybe the inning after that).
The hype that surrounds him? The internets obsession with how smart he is? The 9=8 campaign? His over managing? His fucking glasses?Maddon seems like a likeable guy to me. What am I missing?
What are the rules for postponements, games getting called mid-action and so on?It looks like rain in coming into Cleveland later this evening.
I believe in the playoffs , every game must go 9 innings. They can suspend play after however innings, but the next day, they will play until they get to 9.What are the rules for postponements, games getting called mid-action and so on?
I mean it´s obvious they want to finish a game that has started or not start it at all. But what happens if the heavy raining starts and the game is tied or a team leads? Will it be resumed at that point or start at 0-0 (if it´s tied, or just early/before the 5th inning)?
Does he watch baseball?I hear Jamie Collins is throwing out the first pitch tonight.
2008 Game 5 Phillies/Rays was the first ever suspended WS game, if you can trust WikipediaI believe in the playoffs , every game must go 9 innings. They can suspend play after however innings, but the next day, they will play until they get to 9.
http://nypost.com/2016/10/26/world-series-game-could-last-3-days-under-mlbs-rain-rule/The rule has gone into effect just one time – Game 1 of the 2011 American League Division Series between the Yankees and Tigers at Yankee Stadium. An unexpected shower cut the contest short in the middle of the second inning, with the game tied at 1-1, and the two teams picked it up the next day. The Yankees won, 9-3.
Of the 36 WS game 7s, the team that lost game 6 has gone 18-18.No chance do the Indians win tonight
I'm hearing Ricky VaughnI hear Jamie Collins is throwing out the first pitch tonight.
How'd the '09 Cubs get to a game 7? They finished 2nd (with 104 wins!!) to Pit (110). Must be '08 (the MerkleBoner year)?Of the 36 WS game 7s, the team that lost game 6 has gone 18-18.
Doesnt it have to be the 95 yr old last living member of the '48 team?I'm hearing Ricky Vaughn
That's first game 7 period, not the Cubs (not counting the years the WS was best of 9).How'd the '09 Cubs get to a game 7? They finished 2nd (with 104 wins!!) to Pit (110). Must be '08 (the MerkleBoner year)?
ahhhh......unlike Harold Reynolds, I dont do well with pictures. That's first game 7 period, not the Cubs (not counting the years the WS was best of 9).
He'll be there. But he's going to be hurling racial epithets only.Doesnt it have to be the 95 yr old last living member of the '48 team?
Maddon doesn't trust anyone but Montgomery and Chapman.Good pitchers for the Cubs are Chapman, Strop, Monty, and Rondon, no?

And Lester. Maddon will use a reliever to finish a jam, and use Lester at the start of an inning, or two, mid-game. And if Cleveland gets someone on against him, they'd better damn well runMaddon doesn't trust anyone but Montgomery and Chapman.
Is Ross also going in?And Lester. Maddon will use a reliever to finish a jam, and use Lester at the start of an inning, or two, mid-game. And if Cleveland gets someone on against him, they'd better damn well run
I don't get it, as die hard Clevelanders, wouldn't they like the fans?Darren Rovell ESPN Senior Writer
Charlie Sheen will be in Cleveland for Game 7. He is being flown in by Cleveland entrepreneurs Bobby George of Corporate Management Group & Tony Madalone, owner of apparel company fresh Brewed Tees partnered to bring sheen to cleveland for game 7. Said Madalone: "We're die hard Clevelanders and wanted to do this for the fans."
It was questioned in North KoreaIt's going to be a huge nutpunch for a lot of people either way.
I haven't really followed the series very closely since I was out of the country without regular access to Fox or the internet. Can I assume that Maddon's usage of Chapman has been questioned here and elsewhere?
If its Guyer, it has to involve a HBP.I'm going with a full-on nutpunch:
Indians batting B9, down 3 runs. First 2 go quietly, then bases are loaded on dropped strike 3, error and HBP. Then Brandon Guyer's deep fly Cansecos off Heyward's head for the walk off granny.
There can be no other outcome.
