Thanks for all the good thoughts for my brother. (He came home this morning after a month in the hospital battling sepsis which developed following intestinal surgery.)

I was (but my daughter's a freshman at Purdue).
I guess I got ahead of myself by buying tickets to the game on Sunday. assuming Purdue would win tonight. The only upside is that secondary market pricing for tickets went nuts after St. Peter's won.
Congrats on the season in any case, as a younger PC fan who switched allegiances to URI when going to college there. My hope is Cooley gets the chance to build it up again even after an inevitable downturn in the near future. He really is the right coach despite the mediocre seasons mixed in. The new coach hiring process has left a lot to be desired by the PC brass since Rick Barnes.
That said, despite the relative dominance of you guys we still hold the miniscule victory of beating KU as a 1-seed and with Paul Pierce and Raef Lafrentz. ;-)

I don't know if they got a "home whistle", but seemingly every close out of bounds call went to St. Peter's, all game long.
I'm rooting for Miami just for the Jim Larranaga factor. But I think I'll root for them from a distance.
I do not understand the rules as much as you all... UNC just called for a 3 second violation, but he seemed to be in the lane and then D'd up on the UCLA guy and THEN got called? IF he is guarding someone does 3 seconds apply? Or just a delayed whistle because UNC was sitting there for 3 seconds before the pass in?
It's been a great tourney. Tons of upsets and well played games. No break out star, just good hoops.
Agree the foul is the right call there. Why teams don't constantly take advantage of using up the three 1 and 1 chances early on if they are down, I don't get.
So it'll be an 8 vs a 15 for a spot in the ifnal four. That's gotta be a record for seeding numbers.

I think 22 is the highest cumulative seeds in the final 4 so if Kansas loses there is a good shot to surpass that
Too bad St Peter‘s isn’t playing the winner of this game because both teams are playing like garbage.
