An Over’s an Over even in OT. I also had O222.5 at +100 so was more than happy to cash that too.

Nice work as always @HomeRunBaker

Yup, great calls HRB even if you had to watch it in the bathroom in shame.

1pm game today in Philly. Opened at 222 already down to 220.5.

I took some BKN under team total at 109.5. They are on a back-back (with an intense 4th) and this Celtics team hasn’t even had to show how dominant their D can be. Wil prob add more in game.

Let's be very clear. A half-pt win and an OT Over that was beat by 20 pts are not great calls or nice work LOL! I will take it though bc they will surely come back the other way in time. I'm fine with the former as I got the number I wanted since I'm not playing it at 4.5 however the latter....lol. I did take a lot out of that second game knowing my in-game reads are spot on as the Over was dead imo in the 2Q. I didn't pull 2H Under trigger as I wasn't engaged (freakin date night) last night so don't like making impulse clicks when I'm not working but good to see reads are there.

Bet365 has Nets U110.5 if you’re looking for an extra point.

Update: No Derrick White tonight

I am scarred from watching the Suns/Spurs game demolish the Over. But I'm with you that the pace today is likely much slower.

Much of that was due to the Spurs awful transition defense though. They were the catalyst for that wide open style which became evident in 2Q of their first game. I'm playing my standard auto-click Under for the early game on one site but other than it being an early start I would have trouble playing low here so passing otherwise.

I took under Nuggets/bulls (216.5). Both teams on a back-back with starters playing relatively heavy minutes.

Celtics bench guys can’t stay in front of the Nets to start. Will JM lean on the starters more or it’s time to find a cold streak to hedge out.

Heads up for a 2H Under. I expect a halftime reset, tighter defense and slower 2H pace. Let's see what number we get

What are you targeting for 2H Unders for both Nets and Total?

You can answer later, but curious how you assess your target too.

Passing.

Edit: Was waiting for the C's to let the Nets get the lead at the half or within a possession so they would be ready to clamp down in the 2H. With a double digit lead there isn't motivation to continue doing what they are doing so long as they can score at will....which they should be able to do. Sorry for the delay was watching fights on laptop too lol. The hard life.

9 out of the Nets 26 fourth quarter points come in the final 90 seconds.
I had sold my Nets TT U and 2H U in the third and moved some of the cash into Celtics 2H ML that would have broken me even. That last Nets bucket was a killer.

On to tomorrow.

This is the time of year to begin looking at ridiculous prices in the futures market. A couple years ago it was JJJ at 100-1 to win DPOY the year before he won it after showing early on before the market adjusted (he finished 3rd iirc). I've got one to keep an eye on if you can even find a price on him...

Ime Udoka for COTY. Whatever number you can get today may look like a JJJ-like steal in another month or two. This years Rockets team is nothing resembling last years. VanVleet and Brooks have completely changed the culture and leadership of this team....along with Udoka's presence and defensive system.

I love it when others share angles so credit out to @BGrif21125 for this nugget.

Ya I’m not sure they can make Wiz O/Us high enough.

Last 6 years of Mexico City totals: 212, 218 (went to 240 in OT), 233, 185, 188, 190, 195, 213, 221. Line tonight is 232.5
@Brand Name followed this up with a post-Mexico angle as we've heard many players talk about how their toughest games of the year is the first game after leaving Denver and Utah's elevation.

Both teams seem to be playing deep benches to overcome the altitude. All Star game like first half.

Is this a buy back in at the new under 256 or let it lie?

I didn't touch it although you can make a case for a tight game to slow down in the 4Q.

Sports Betting is alive and well in Florida with the mobile app now live. Two guys at poker table discussing who to play for first basket in Warriors/Wolves game.....

4-seat: "I want to bet Draymond he's good!"
8-seat: (nods to show approval)
4-seat: "Who is this Anthony Edwards and why is he the favorite? I never heard of him."

Oh my.

Day game Unders 2-1 today. Here's hoping some read through my prior posts on the Clippers defense this year and in particular agaiant Dallas when they gave up 140+ while running shooters off their spots all night until the game got out of hand late. Spoke about this play with @Brand Name but forgot to post here. Couple the deceptive box score from Dallas game with a 12:30 LA start and I suck for not sharing.

Would have been a great if not for the Knicks going crazy. Also, even though the Mexico game didn't deliver betting the TT unders on Hawks/Magic following their Mexico adventure paid off.

Good to hear and great that you applied the info for profit!!

Time for some Clippers focus as my current late night "read team." I always seem to have a couple teams that I'm comfortable projecting and exploiting...especially live positions. There was a noticeable difference in team defense last game when out-of-shape preseason Harden was on the floor but as always with afternoon games take this with a grain of salt. Memphis ran more multiple player actions that require a 5-man defensive to work as one which Harden and his teammates struggled against at times. This is not to be confused with Dallas the previous game when their individual defense was on point (yes despite giving up 146).

It's rare that we can find value in a common public theme (Jokic really good, Harden really bad) but this is one terrible matchup for the Clippers defensively. So how to attack it? I'll dig into specifics tomorrow but I'm fascinated with this game and the live betting opportunities as Hardens rotation is ending and when he returns. The minites with Jokic and Harden on the floor should be heavily skewed to the Nuggets scoring points. If I have time tonight after overnights are posted I'll add more.

Sticking with the TT theme.

Knicks Under 106.5

Not the best number but they play slow and on back end of a B2B after everything came so easy for them, especially in the paint and off glass, versus the Hornets yesterday. Good chance they don't crack 100 if your book offers some nice plus numbers down there.....only bc I know you degens are thinking this. :D

I feel like the spread is kind of juicy. We always seem to play rock fights against them.

LaVine and DeRozan are currently 3-23 and 0-7 from three. Not much you can do when variance smacks you on the side of your face. At least the Knicks/C's played to form.

Variance taketh. Variance giveth. We’ll take the 35 point 4th quarter and our push and run with it. Even if they had a full minute to hit the over….!

The market is favoring Clippers here. I don't necessarily agree as I feel this is a bad matchup when Harden is on the floor against Denver's halfcourt offense. I can't find right price to do much early....was considering Nuggets 1st to 20 but not going to lay -150 with that much short term volatility. So hanging tight observe the action and maybe find live spots. The first I'll look at is for Denver to take early lead as Hardens rotation is ending then take some Clippers....and look to come back w Nuggets midway through 2Q prior to Harden returning. There will be middling involved if the right spots show up.

Took some 2H Warriors TT Under 50. Wolves should be able to regroup and adjust with a strong 2H defensive gameplan.

Edit: Added U212.5 for more.

Ok finally done clicking Unders. Just need no OT and it's a real good night. Minny wins without OT and it's NBA Night of the Year from one game. This defensive lockdown was too easy to see and barely any market adjustment.. No OT!!

That's the thing about in-game....you never can tell what could develop. Lock in for the night, sit and watch trying to find intriguing games, read for updates, click around and once in awhile you strike gold with mispriced 4Q or in this case entire 2H. Even still, OT would have turned it all into ShitCoin so not without risk.

Those first 3 scoreless min with G7 defense was glorious. The perfect storm. Warriors missing their entire offense relying on Podziemski banking in 3's and forced to be their end of shot clock creator. Non-Steph this is not a good offense, non-Steph/Dray/even 2023-Klay this is an anemic league-worst offense. Maybe similar spots will present themselves down the road with this team....they should at some point.

Hammered the over for the Celtics tonight. Assuming with Embiid out it’s going to be a track meet.
I passed pregame. Embiid out helps the Sixers pace but no Jaylen takes away out best transition scorer. KP being replaced by Horford and Kornet slows us down too. Interesting dynamic and I'll have this as one of my 3 rotation games looking for in-game edges.

Looks like I jumped on some bad info and Embiid might not be out after all. Oh well, maybe I'll get lucky. 222.5 isn't outrageous.

I'm just settling in to begin watch I assumed you have fresh info. Yikes, Embiid in with our transition scorers out is a tough look for points here. Still nothing pre but if this is say 16-15 midway through Q1 without any signs of transition I will be ready to jump on the Under at a better number.
