Any of you guys feeling any schadenfreude with Lester?

No, but I'll admit to being a bit relieved that he didn't toss a gem and being able to avoid the idiots screaming 'YOU SEE!?!  They shoulda signed Lestah!!'

Are we using this thread for the games today? Or should someone create an April game thread?

After starting the Red Sox game thread a day early, you're worried about protocol?

Both Tanaka and Hutchinson looking strong, w/ the exception of Gardner's hard-hit bomb  to the RF wall caught masterfully by Bautista. First web-gem of the season!

I know this has been discussed, but the idiocy of the mlb.tv blackout rules still gives me a headache.  The whole point of getting it is so people can watch without a tv, yet they still black out local games.

The box score in MLB Gameday is funny.  It has 10 batters listed (the #10 spot for the pitchers, with batting statistics which will never happen).  I had never seen an AL Box score like that.

In gameday, but can anyone explain why on Earth would Toronto's manager signal a bunt to Jose Reyes after Tanaka walked the # 9 hitter?

The Blue Jays are going to be tough this year.

And Tanaka should just go ahead and have the Tommy John over with.

The ligament tore off the bone, but he wants to become a true Yankee before going under the knife.

Hutchison is dealing. That Jays rotation is going to be insane next year with Stroman back, Hutchison, Sanchez, Norris...  Yikes.

McCann is going to be pissed that Pillar stole a base up 5 runs.  That's not playing the game the right way.

Tanaka is hitting 90-91 with his fastball.  Yankee Stadium had the gun turned off for the Jays first-inning ABs.

Yeah... the Yankees are going to be really bad this year.

Also, might be time the earliest the "Psssssssst" thread gets started this year.

I thought you were talking about Price but then I realized you weren't.

Lohse v Kendrick has to be one of the worst opening day matchups in a while. Football score is on the way.

Colon beating Scherzer is too rich, so to speak.
Just for the record, tho I know no one is reading this anymore, it turns out that Ian Desmond made two errors that led to the Mets runs. Not on Scherzer.
