Boogie would be a great add. The team would retain the spacing it had with Horford. He dragged those Kings teams to 30-35 wins for years just like AD dragged the Pelicans to about the same. Another year removed from the Achilles injury will be good, too. I'm kind of astonished he didn't get a better offer: the personality stuff must be really, really bad, or teams must just be extra cautious about his injuries. He played like shit during the playoffs, but I wonder how much of that could be attributed to his being rushed back.
It would also allow Kanter to munch on second-unit bigs. I see all the hate on him defensively and I recognize it, and it's deserved, but as bad as his DRPM numbers are, the guy has put up a positive ORTG/DRTG every year since he left Utah. That doesn't make him a good defender, or even a passable one, it just means teams have found a way to play him so that he's a positive addition on the floor.
If he was as bad as Okafor, for example, he wouldn't have kept getting minutes -- starter's minutes -- on playoff teams.
