A championship level win. Warriors are lucky the West snow globe didn't shake out where they'd have to go through both San Antonio and LA.
He finally said exactly what Reggie said, Diaw touched it first so it didn't matter whoradsoxfan said:
When your mind gets twisted into a pretzel on national TV, and Reggie Miller has to be the voice of reason…. that's about as embarrassing as it gets.
I still don't think Harlan has any idea what happened on that offensive interference or why the basket was disallowed.

Not sure that was luck. Golden State had a brilliant stretch run. Furthermore, this year's Clippers have a hard time keeping up with the Warriors because Bogut and Green can slow Griffin, Thompson/Iguodala et al give CP3 trouble and Reddick is a liability versus either Thompson or Curry. Based on what I've seen, I think Golden State would have to play their worst basketball of the season to lose a seven game series to either of these two teams though I think the Spurs would give them a good fight.

Luck in the sense that 2-6 minus Portland was a toss up. Could have ended up with the Clippers in round 2, Spurs in round 3 and Cavs in the Finals. I completely agree, it's the Warriors title to lose, they are head and shoulders above the rest of the league. But that's a hell of a trio to go through.

That's a fair point. And while I think the Warriors are very good, I think that Memphis or San Antonio (if they win) can still derail them.

That would be too cost prohibitive. The cost for a commercial venue to purchase the fight is based on the facilities maximum occupancy per their fire code. For a fight like this you're talking like $5k for a 100-person bar, now multiply this out to 18,000 or whatever. The Clippers would be in the hook for a guesstimate of around $1m to show the fight.DeJesus Built My Hotrod said:
If the Clippers wanted to reward their fans, they should simply buy the fight and show it on the jumbotron. I think the Clips win tonight in a very close contest. Duncan looks great but Parker and Ginobli are finally starting to look mortal.
There are several bars showing it in DTLA.ElUno20 said:Traffic on the 110 and 10 is going to be a nightmare out of staples. Everyone will be hoping for a blowout so they can leave early for the fight
They don't talk much and they have a brilliant system. They play the most beautiful basketball I've ever seen in my life. If you think that's joyless...jon abbey said:Joyless? The Spurs might be the most joyless team in the history of the league.

Kawhi is awesome, obviously. But, his great defense is made for lock down, stay with a guy, don't switch D. Sometimes, and it's happening tonight, when the offense dictates multiple switches in one play, he makes poor decisions. It's not that he can't guard the guy he's now on, but he hesitates and the speed of the Clippers take advantage of that. I know he's DPOY, and universally heralded on D, but I swear I see this on multiple occasions.bball831 said:Kawhi throwing up a stinker tonight. Weird handling by Pop too benching him 2 minutes into the 3rd.
