He's still an asshole.

He certainly is an asshole, but that linked story is almost a year old and likely not true. Avery's currently engaged to Hilary Rhoda.

BoSoxFink said:A guy puts up 65 points a season and plays solid defense is a stud. There are not many of those guys in the league. For example the Bruins would have only one guy who made the cut of what you describe above (Krejci with 69 points) and they were the best team points wise in the league last year.
Hence I think you drastically over estimated Leino's potential.
You're right. I flipped the teams. Have edited.cshea said:I believe it is the other way around. Washington is hosting at, presumably, Nationals Park.

Rangers have used compliance buyout on Brad Richards. Will get paid out over next 12 years.

Brad Richards, with NMC, opted against the waiver process. Buyout is immediate.

BREAKING: The #Flyers have acquired R.J. Umberger in exchange for Scott Hartnell. Details → http://nhlflye.rs/1l3PVsY
cshea said:Forsberg is a lock, IMO. 2 Cup's, a Hart and an Art Ross to his name. His was the best player in hockey at his peak before being derailed by injury. 1.25 PPG over his career is pretty absurd, especially since his peak years were during the clutch 'n grab and trap era of the NHL. Neely was elected in (correctly) which in a way set the standard fo them voting in guys who had their careers shortened due to injury.
Doug Weight is a tough call, but I'd probably leave him out. He played forever but really only had 1 elite season (95/96) when he had 104 points in 82 games.
FL4WL3SS said:Love that trade for the Blue Jackets. Umberger hasn't fulfilled his potential and the Jackets get back some grit and personality while gaining a little offensively.
