An extra player and they still can't scoreI think he’s at left winger with Colwill at LB in a 4-4-3.
I think Richy could do very well under Ange. He's not a superstar and probably wasn't worth the fee but he's still a very good player, and he brings a different dimension with his aerial threat. His problem right now is that he and Son don't really fit that well together, so he's reduced to a substitute role, and Spurs have no other competitions so minutes are scarce.Richarlison has his detractors here, I’m not going to apologize for his shithousery, and hes undeniably been crap for Spurs so far, but I just watched those last few minutes. That’s why Everton fans to a man would run through a wall for him. His passion fueled that comeback. If you put a Richarlison doppelgänger into that game with Richy’s FIFA attributes but who is not a complete wierdo like him, I don’t think it happens. He creates/feeds off the adrenaline of those big lost-cause moments like no one else.
looking back at spurs when he joined vs now, the whole feeling top to bottom under Conte, both on and off the pitch, was so dour, the style of play so conservative if you want to call it that (I remember a sign TO DARE IS TO DO NOTHING), it wasn’t a good environment for Richy to flourish in. Obviously Ange seems to be better for everyone and I don’t know if Richy has a position to call his own now but I think he kicks on now.
I thought he was ok today, and the stats show some productivity, but I think part of the issues is that Poch has been playing Colwill at LB, when he’s a more natural CB, so there’s less progression and chance creation coming from that side, compared to the right where Gusto has been more productive at advancing the ball and setting Sterling up. We’ll see how things look going forward.Another invisible game for Mudryk … tools wise he resembles Timo Werner - and results wise as well when it comes down to it. But Werner always had tons of chances whereas Mudryk looks completely befuddled and lost.
The Athletic had a podcast on him a couple of weeks ago in which the participants were equally perplexed. What does Poch do with this guy?
Salt to the wounds with that yellowWith Chilwell sitting it’s a shit weekend for the FPL template.
No, It should have been +20. That ref might be given a week off.Wasn’t watching this match is the +12 valid? I know we are getting longer durations this year but that’s an extremely long time did someone have a bad injury?
Here it isThat may be the single worst VAR decision I've ever seen. And I've seen a lot of bad ones. How is that offside? The ball was played backwards by an Everton player. The Arsenal player was trying to pass the ball sideways, at a short distance, if he was even trying to pass it at all.
