Wolves were the opponent when I went to Goodison a few weeks ago. Two things were glaringly apparent in person from close up- they are a team of shithousers, and Neto could start for most clubs in this league- he’s bigger than a lot of wingers and fullbacks struggle to contain.

A Liverpool fan has done statistical analysis on the referring situation. He starts from a place of bias but puts controls in place to attempt to filter it out. The results are pretty incredible. Shit like today is why.
He rushed a throw in the attacking end to give the ball away, leading to the counter that scored. Also, the throw was U8-level comically illegal. He jumped and scissored his feet in the air.

Nunez for Gakpo, Endo and Gravenberch for Jones and Mac, then tell Gomez to get red carded. That should do it.
This will be one of those “If it works, Klopp is a tenuous, if it doesn’t, he’s a dumbass.”
Nunez for Jota feels like the missing piece. Someone needs to dribble past these guys in the final third. Diaz is certainly a candidate as is Mo but a third guy could be the difference.
