Ending with a CB pairing of Maguire and Evans really is something for a team that is supposed to be interested in challenging for the title.
How many players are out injured? Feel like I heard there were at least four players out at the moment.. that pairing seemed more a case of emergency than a plan for the rest of the season.

Yeah they are our 5th and 6th choice center backs. The injuries are very alarming but people blaming ETH for playing them are overreacting. I mean it’s United and overreaction comes with the territory but I didn’t think it was a bad game all things considered.

I thought ManU's right and left back played very well. Saka was basically made invisible for most of the game. Martinelli's defender had a few hiccups, but I thought he covered him pretty well as well.

Given it's an away game and a bunch of players/starters are out and it's the beginning of the season.. ManU almost stole all 3 points. The scoreline doesn't really tell the story of the game.

I have purchased some socks recently and noticed they’re quite a bit tighter than the ones I remember back in the day.. they don’t seem to flex as much in my experience or be as elastic.. they kind of feel thicker.

would also say that all of the stitching is also night and day from when I was younger.
I feel that. Just today my oldest said his cleats were too tight, so he tried on A pair of mine. And they fit.

In what sense?

Arsenal had more and better opportunities all game long. Rashford scored one hell of a goal, but the Arsenal should have had a few before that and the penalty could easily have stood.

XG was 2.53 - .98 Arsenal, so maybe a 2 goal victory didn't tell the tail, but Arsenal deserved the three points.

I’m an Arsenal fan.. and I do think they were the better side.. just think 3-1 makes it look almost like an easy win..and doesn’t show how two of those goals were scored very late.. It probably should have been a one goal game. I did think Arsenal deserved to win.

I think that's mostly from Man U being a counter-attacking team. Arsenal didn't press as aggressively as they normally do, and let ManU pass the ball around their own end. So the possession numbers look (and felt) close, but if you look at advanced numbers like Field Tilt and expected goals, Arsenal were dominant. But Arsenal did press to aggressively a few times, which led to the ManU goal and that close offsides by Garnacho, and that made it feel like another goal could happen at any moment.
