The 718
Wolves fans hanging this sign behind a goal, where the cameras can’t avoid it:

They got overwhelmed with donations, far more than they needed.

Pool visits Palace on the early kickoff so I expect to see youze Reds trickling in.

We’re just buzzing here at chez OCST over Everton’s smashing of the horsepunchers. We host Chelsea tomorrow- and without the 10 pt deduction we’d be ahead of them in the table.

Klopp needs to let his opponents take the lead early so we can get it over with. Leave more time for the comeback so the fans live to the end of the year.

The tele angle made it look more spectacular than it was (it was still spectacular), but that was a wretched shot under the circumstances.

For sure a foul on Endo but I did not know they could go that far back to look at this that wasn’t a card or penalty

It’s a shame but Endo is just too small physically for the Premier League. He’s technically fine but he just can’t hold off his man like you need to in his position. I guess he could speed up his game and survive but I’m not sure that’s possible.

Take nowt away from Palace who have put themselves about, but that was a pretty sloppy stuff from Liverpool. Endo's having a shocker but no Liverpool player really covered themslves in glory that half.

I suspect Trent was on a tighter leash to see how Quansah settled in. I think the kid has been largely okay, and maybe Trent gets some latitude.

Endo needs to find his feet as a six with Mac hurt. It’s either going to come with Premier League match time or it won’t at all. This seems like an opportunity to let it play out a bit. Give him another 15 minutes before shaking things up too much.

Of course, you're right - the save was class. Ali is always exempt from criticism. Even if he messes up. He's been pure gold for Liverpool.
Directly responsible for the Citeh goal a couple of weeks ago and nobody bats an eye.

Schlupp drawing that foul on Quansah… Not often a foul drives you UP in the air as opposed to down.

Maybe, maybe it’s a pen if called in real-time. I’ll concede my bias there. There is no way it meets the threshold that has been clearly established.
the only argument I have with you is the “clearly established”. The only thing that’s ever been clearly established with VAR is they’ll make up whatever they want without a lick of consistency. It’s insane.

I had to get a delivery and missed what happened in the interim. I assume that there was no stoppage of play between the incident and the calling of the penalty. Is that right?

Correct. They did the right thing given the ball never went out of play - qualifying "right thing" being if the VAR thought that met the standard of a clear and obvious error.

No points deserved by Liverpool with this performance thus far

No stoppage but the announcers noted the review was ongoing the whole time, even suggesting there was an offsides review added that tipped the penalty

stupid question, does that all become added time now?

Remember back when Palace was Liverpool's bogey team? I miss those days, because that is emphatically not the case anymore.
