Yeah, I've rooted for more than a few Miami teams with Wade, but he is one of the dirtiest players of this generation.

The biggest things that won OKC that game were:
1. Randy Foye playing over Payne and knocking down shots
2. Good Waiters
3. Westbrook stopped being so lazy on D in the 4th quarter
4. Adams and Kanter on the boards

That's on the OKC GM for letting their third perimeter option go from Harden to Jackson to Waiters (yikes!).
Eh, the Thunder got Steven Adams as a result of the Harden trade, and Waiters was part of the Jackson trade. Right now, the Thunder would rather have Adams than "I don't take the team bus" Harden, who has contributed to poor chemistry on the Rockets. And, odd though it may seem, they would probably rather have Waiters (who actually wants to be in OKC) than Jackson, who whined his way out of the city and melted down in the playoffs for Detroit.

Maybe reggie Jackson but no. No. No. No fn way on harden.

A lot of Harden's problems are he hates his teammates (and vise versa). It's unprofessional but it clearly affects his effort. Him, Westbrook, Durant, and Ibaka didn't hate playing with each other. That team should still be competing for titles.

Eh, there's no way that Westbrook and Harden could have co-existed once Harden saw himself as THE player on a team. Westbrook and Durant can co-exist because Durant is a "team-first" player. Harden is a "me-first" player; there's a reason why he doesn't get along with his teammates.

He openly acknowledges that he loved being a 6th man in OKC. He was asked if he'd like to start at one point and he declined. He still opines and asks "what if" according to a decent ESPN doc I saw.

Add me to the list of those who simply cannot stand Wade. He truly is a dirty fucking player and that "play" on Rondo was one of the worst I've seen in the sport. That he continues to play at a high level actually makes it worse - he doesn't need to be the fucking cheap shot artist that he is because he's good at basketball. I mean, he's Patrick Beverley but with a lot more talent.

And I don't hate LeBron James. He has his flaws but the guy is a beast, seems to genuinely care for his teammates (even if he can be tough on them) and is a hell of a competitor. And he could do far more damage than Wade, however he doesn't because he is better than that.

In short, fuck Dwayne Wade.

Eh, for Harden, it was all about the money. "Coming off the bench" would only have worked for him if he got a max contract.

In an interview with ESPN’s Hannah Storm, James Harden talked honestly about his decision to turn down the Thunder’s four-year, $55 million extension offer, which set off the team trading him to Houston. “I felt like I already made a sacrifice coming off the bench and doing whatever it takes to help the team, and they weren’t willing to help me,” Harden said. Quick note: The offer the Thunder made, while not the max, would’ve made him the highest paid sixth man in NBA history.... Then asked if money wasn’t a factor, would he still be with the Thunder? “Definitely,” he said. “Definitely. No question.”

This Raptors/Heat game is a tire fire in terms of bad shots and bad handles and crazy occurrences. Lowry fouls out with the Raps up by two with 1:40 left and DeRozan is sitting on the bench. Meanwhile, the Dwayne Wade revival is in full effect as he is the only Heat player capable of scoring...

And of course Toronto runs an ISO with Cory Joseph where he misses only to have Dwayne Wade dribble through a porous defense only to lay in the tying bucket.

I think DeMar Derozan gets to the arena with someone holding his hand. He just turns the ball over by dribbling off a defender's foot. Ugh.

You have to be shitting me. Livingston clearly gets fouled, complains to the ref and then gets T-d and tossed. Scott Foster is a douchebag.

The quality of the 2016 NBA playoff games has been absolute shit. It's reaching semi-embarrassing levels. We really need a classic Spurs/Warriors series to salvage this.

The problem is Livingston got right in Foster's grill AFTER he had already gotten a T. Lillard got hit in very much the same way on the Ezeli block and didn't say anything because he could compose himself.

Lillard maybe got hit on the arm/hand, while Festus had plenty of ball. Livingston got a forearm across the head. While making a layup. In front of two referees.

Lillard got whacked right across the wrist by a much larger player and knocked to the floor. Livingston had no self control and that is why he is gone. The refs miss calls all the time.

OK. But don't compare the fouls. Players should not emote.

You trying to defend that call is laughable. They were both horrible missed calls and Livingston got in Foster's grill but if you are going to say they miss calls all the time, you have to also admit that they let shit like that go all the time, especially after a T. Its indefensible.

I'm not justifying the call, just that Livingston should have been. Able to compose himself, especially after the ref gave him the first t. If a player goes after the ref and gets right in his face and says whatever Livingston said, the he is going to be dealt that second T.

That is not correct. If they did that they would eject players a significant portion of the time after a T. Good for Lillard for composing himself but many, many players do not and you know this. Livingston has never been ejected in his entire career until this evening. During a playoff game. Its a bullshit call by Foster and he is cementing his reputation as the worst ref in the NBA.

Dray with two huge D plays. Best 6' 7" Center since Wes Unseld?

And Ian Clark clubbed with no whistle. Feels like refs have lost the plot.

You guys are salty as fuck. Portland can't set a screen without getting whistled but no, GS is getting screwed.

Golden State has also been called for fewer fouls and shot more free throws.
I don't think you can really look to foul numbers and free throws when gauging these games anymore, unless you account for the "hack-a" fouls. Bogut was fouled on at least three consecutive trips in the first half by Portland, and went to the line. Off the ball, intentional fouls.

I'm at the point now where I'm just doing my best to ignore the officiating. It's a complete fucking joke. Both ways. You just hope one team doesn't end up getting completely screwed in the end. Meanwhile, it's some of the most exciting NBA basketball in a long, long time.

Nobody here said Golden State is getting screwed - go show me where anyone posted those words. I am salty because I hate when ref's go overboard and that would apply if he tossed one of the Blazers as well. Ref's can T them up but tossing a guy in a playoff game because he is complaining a bit is horrible. If he had tossed, say, Crabbe or Harkless I would say the same. I am a fan of the NBA and I like this Blazers team. I hate shitbag refs who try to decide the game instead of letting the players play.

I don't disagree. I was just pointing out that the officiating hasn't been as egregiously one sided as a certain poster was claiming.

GS has flopped on 3 legal picks set by Portland. Plumlee is also absolutely trash. Has turnovers, doesn't know what to do with the ball, is lost on defense.

If Portland pulls this off, my game ball goes to Aminu. That guy has made huge plays for them all night, all over the floor.
