1-0 on a goal from probably the only player likely to get significant league playing time. Should have scored more, but they've dominated and got the U-18 and U-21 guys some work.DrewDawg said:Still 0-0 in a game they should be up comfortably by the half.
whoops. I was on my phone, must have hit the wrong one and never realized it.SoxFanInCali said:I think you guys are mixing up the Europa League and Euro 2016.

I'm planning to be in the area for a couple days for the Rugby World Cup that week. I'm disappointed that it's an international break for the Premier League while I'm planning to be over there, but wouldn't mind seeing some international soccer, and that's the nearest game (and should be a good one).
What's the Marseille strip? I got tickets to game #23 in Marseille.soxfaninyankeeland said:Yes. I won the Marseilles strip, others in my group won the Nice strip and we got a R16 game in St. Etienne which will include France if they win their group. Good day.

Tickets are now on sale to Scotland Supporters Club members. I don't know if you need to have been a member from a particular time, but I think you can register for free and then buy tickets. If not, public sale starts after this weekend.

I'm still not definite that I'm able to go, but should know in the next few days.
Sooooo......asking for a friend : what if a Poland supporter (who didn't speak Polish) wanted to go to this game? Would this be wise? Sit in the away section for sure? Or enjoy the game from the Scottish section, wear some blue and white and just keep his trap shut?
A strip is a 2 match package to one venue. The Marseilles strip is match 23 & 29. Our Nice strip is match 21 and 36.sachmoney said:What's the Marseille strip? I got tickets to game #23 in Marseille.
Tried the Liechtenstein FA? (If you don't care about which supporters you sit with)DennyDoyle'sBoil said:I'm sure this is a complete longshot, but does anyone have a line or idea on Austria/Liechtenstein tickets for the October qualifier? There was a public sale through the Austrian FA, but it was impossible to order tickets without an Austrian address. Tickets seem to be plentiful on viogogo, but I'm not sure if that's trustworthy.

jkempa said:My dad farted around and we missed out on the last tickets that were available through the SSC. Does anyone know a reputable ticket broker that I could use for the Scotland-Poland game?

I'll sell you a pair for 200 pounds. To figure out where you want to sit, go to this link, and find any available seats, and tell me which ones you want, and I'll buy them for you and then sell them to you. http://www.scottishfa.talent-sport.co.uk/PagesPublic/ProductBrowse/productHome.aspx?ProductSubType=EU16
Actually, now that I think about it, it probably would just be more cost effective for you, once you're there, to simply buy them yourself for 40 quid each. Not quite as a rewarding for me, though. :q:
Yeah, a win for Iceland and a win for Turkey against Latvia would drop the Netherlands down to 4th with 3 matches left.ConigliarosPotential said:Lest we forget, this starts up again tonight - really looking forward to the Netherlands v Iceland matchup in particular.
Iceland should be ahead.ConigliarosPotential said:Lest we forget, this starts up again tonight - really looking forward to the Netherlands v Iceland matchup in particular.
Could've been worse for the Netherlands, Latvia only equalized in injury time.Schnerres said:1-0 Iceland, game over. It´s not as they were better in any part of the game, but that´s football. They were very pragmatic and efficient. Netherlands were dumb and didn´t finish their attacks, probably due to missing someone up front (Robben and Huntelaar out played a huge part in that, obviously). They probably led possession and shots, but those were mostly from about 15-20m, so nothing clear. Lucky for them, Turkey only drew Latvia and has the toughest way to go (Netherlands/H, Czechs/A, Iceland/H), so the 3rd place finish should be safe for Netherlands.
18p. for Iceland, 16p for Czech Republic and 10p for Netherlands (9p. for Turkey) is probably too much to overcome, as both leading teams still play Latvia.
Ireland are a point ahead and have a superior goal difference. Both still have Poland, Germany and a minnow. Scottland get both Germany and Poland at home, while Ireland have to go to Poland, so slight advantage there for Scotland. But I still think Scotlsnd are the chasers.Spacemans Bong said:Scotland will make the playoffs, I think the Republic are just too crap to catch them. It's just who do they draw in those playoffs. Hungary or Albania and they might have a chance, get Ukraine or Slovenia and they're in trouble. And even if Danny Blind is worse than Guus Hiddink, I wouldn't want to go near playing Holland.
Doubtful, I doubt one would be seeded and one wouldn't be.ConigliarosPotential said:Iceland knew they only needed a draw after the Netherlands loss, so I wouldn't hold that against them.
And Wales is surely in - Israel is five points back in third with two games left, and on the final day of the group they have to go to Belgium while Wales plays Andorra.
The interesting one coming up tomorrow is Northern Ireland v Hungary in Group F. If the Irish win, they qualify with two games to spare; if they lose, it's very possible that they could fade to third place behind Hungary and Romania before the group is done. (What price a Northern Ireland v Republic of Ireland playoff matchup?)
It could be crappy or it could be amazing with the Dutch playing for their lives. I have a feeling it'll be the latter.DennyDoyle'sBoil said:I'm going to that Netherlands/Czech game. When I decided which games to try to go to, it seemed like potentially an exciting high quality game but now I'm worried it will be crappy.

Prepare to be astonished by how completely shit the Arena is, though. It's like the blandest place ever and way out of town.
