Where´s the subforum for the Euros?
Pre-Rosters are to be named (some already did it), it´s getting hotter each day...

Tim Thomas' Bunker
I don't understand the humor in that since they play different positions. This is the provisional.
Goalkeepers: Fraser Forster (Southampton), Joe Hart (Manchester City), Tom Heaton (Burnley)

Defenders: Ryan Bertrand (Southampton), Gary Cahill (Chelsea), Nathaniel Clyne (Liverpool), Danny Rose (Tottenham Hotspur), Chris Smalling (Manchester United), John Stones (Everton), Kyle Walker (Tottenham Hotspur)

Midfielders: Dele Alli (Tottenham Hotspur), Ross Barkley (Everton), Fabian Delph (Manchester City), Eric Dier (Tottenham Hotspur), Danny Drinkwater (Leicester City), Jordan Henderson (Liverpool), Adam Lallana (Liverpool), James Milner (Liverpool), Raheem Sterling (Manchester City), Andros Townsend (Newcastle United), Jack Wilshere (Arsenal)

Forwards: Harry Kane (Tottenham Hotspur), Marcus Rashford (Manchester United), Wayne Rooney (Manchester United), Daniel Sturridge (Liverpool), Jamie Vardy (Leicester City)
Wilshere isn't necessarily going to make it and no, I'm not advocating for him to be in it. My apprehension for him being relied upon has been well documented in the Arsenal threads over the years. If Wilshere's healthy, he's better than Barkley, Delph, Dier, Drinkwater, Lallana, and Townsend. That if is a LOL though. He is probably the most talented midfielder listed besides Sterling and Alli. He also plays a role for the national team that Dier is his only competition for the position. Yeah, he could easily make the squad if he can prove his health. But that if again, hahahahahahahahaha.

Who is the player that you would replace Walcott with? Rashford? Honestly, I'd say someone like Andy Carroll is a bigger omission than Walcott. Sorry, Theo. I don't trust your scoring abilities for club (anymore), why should your country trust you? Carroll brings something different from the other guys. Honestly, I'm not sure I would have included Rooney. Heck, if Welbeck didn't destroy his other knee, I put him in the squad over Rooney. I just don't think 2016 Rooney fits. It pains me to say this, but give me Kane all day. Give me Vardy.

That's a great post. And yes, I have to agree that I'd enjoy watching Carroll do his thing out there for 50-60 minutes a game, far moreso than Walcott. But does he fit the 4-4-2 that Hodgson usually plays? Vardy-Kane up top makes sense to me, or either of them with Sturridge, but I'm not sure Carroll fits - powerful shots, great headers, height, but no pace or fitness and a lack of elite passing ability.

2016 Rooney may be better as a midfielder given what he's shown at United the last few months.

5 Spurs on the list... wow.

Mark Noble must have fucked every female member of Hodgson's family, that midfield is just loaded with players he is better than, and he had a better season than almost all of them.

Jogi Löw with the press conference joined by Sami Khedira and Benni Höwedes for the final cut from 27 down to 23:
Surprise, surprise, Dortmund´s Marco Reus is again out with a lingering injury to his pubis(?).
Other cuts are Hoffenheim´s Sebastian Rudy(RB, DM), Leverkusen´s Karim Bellarabi(AM, RW) and Leverkusen´s Julian Brandt(AM).

Players who weren´t safe but made it are the three youngsters Dortmund´s Julian Weigl(DM), Schalke´s Leroy Sané(AM), Bayern´s Joshua Kimmich(DM, CB, WB) as well as oldie Bastian Schweinsteiger(DM) from Manchester United, who was out for a few months, but got the nod from the doctors, instead of Reus.
