Kelly had his GM mis-steps, but the cap played a factor here, too. There's just no way they could have kept McCoy / Mathis / Maclin / Jackson for what those guys were making / ended up signing for. Guys like Agholor and Huff weren't ready for bigger roles yet. Peters got old this year; Herremans and Mathis were already old.
