I know he is forecast to go late in the first or early in the second but based on SMUs post in the BBtL, I suspect he is going to go much sooner. So yeah, based on the fact others might want him, I take him.

As for the emotions shown today, the Apple Cup is a massive game and I think Penix knew just how lucky UW was to win this game. I will give him a pass - I don't think if the Patriots draft Penix that he will be balling after beating the Jets 10-6 in a late December affair, even if it clinches a playoff spot. That said, if the Pats draft a QB and then surround them with no protection or weapons, they are allowed to cry a bit. Even Mac gets a pass for some of the stuff he has had to deal with as a pro. I'd cry too.
