Yeah it’s definitely Week 11 as least as far as how officials are counting it

Not sure about the score but I’ll continue to believe PSU is a full tier below Michigan and Ohio State until proven otherwise. Might happen some year, probably not this one.

If Penn State wants to score 7 at a time they need to move to the Big 12 or Pac 4

306, row 14
In the first quarter BC threw 2 interceptions and got pantsed on a surprise onside. Only down 10-7 though.

I don’t watch a ton of college football, but I have no idea how anyone can evaluate JJ McCarthy when he’s just handing the ball off every time including on like 3rd and 10 in the redzone.

One thing I know is that he can run (4.4 40). I think his passing is good also but how to evaluate at the college level?

Simply not pass interference.. Penn State is probably not good enough this year... and the fumble killed them, but that's at least two pretty tough calls against them, imo.

Yeah, I haven’t been able to watch most of this game - but he’s thrown 8 times. Can you really win a title like that?

I don’t think it’s because they don’t trust him or can’t. I think they’re just playing the game the way that gives them the best chance to win. BB-esque.

I guess, but do you want his fist pressure throws of the season to be down 10 in a playoff or OSU game? I see your point though from a tactical perspective.

If nothing else this is like a weird look backwards in time. Kinda cool. Bama LSU vibes from years ago

It's a shame, this would have been a great game if Penn State had a quarterback who can throw the ball in the general direction of his receivers.

James Franklin has coached like an idiot today. Don’t watch them enough to know if that’s every week. Chasing 2 points early, and that god awful decision to go for it are embarrassingly bad.

Franklin punts on 4th and a millimeter and Michigan is about to go up 2 scores.
I'm done with Franklin.. I'd at least like to have a coach that makes losing to OSU and Michigan every year at least a little bit interesting. Michigan made one adjustment in the first half and Penn State seemingly never adjusted or recovered.. Plus a freshman quarterback not being able to pass to save his life.. running on first and second down almost every series... would be nice to have someone new.

edit: well he was good that series.

Going for two made sense.. it would have made it a 3 point game. Difference between 4 and 5 points isn't all that huge.

Absolute moron. Almost feels like the moment is too big for him. Just baffling.
