Salem got 2-out singles from Gilberto/Romero/Coffey, & with the help of some bad defense, scored 2 runs to extend their lead to 7-0 headed to bottom 6.

I'm sympathetic, but he isn't just hitting AAA pitching, he's pillaging it. His IsoP of .356 is absolutely unholy. All of the underlying numbers tell you that the AAA pitching just isn't a challenge for the freest swinger this side of Nomah. They should just bite the bullet and let him develop at the major league level.

CJ Liu was done after 4 innings, 3 runs, 5 hits, 3 walks, 4 strikeouts. ERA up to 5.09.

I feel pretty comfortable not protecting him in the Rule 5.

Blaze just struck out on the 9th pitch of the at bat with 1st & 3rd & 1 out, 2-2. Took a fastball that was pretty clearly a strike at the knees that got a lot of plate & then complained to the ump on his way out.

I don't really have a point... but yeah...Sikes struck out to end the inning.

Valera stayed out for the 10th & pitched a 1-2-3 inning with 2 strikeouts.

Gilberto was 3-5 with a grand slam & a HBP.

JOHNFRANK was 1-3 with a grand slam & 2 walks.

Enderso Lira was 3-5.

Jhostynxon was 2-5 with a double.

Albert Feliz was 2-3 with 2 walks.

All 7 of Scroggins' runs allowed were determined to be unearned... but yikes.
