PENROD has now pitched 11 scoreless innings in 2 starts.

Casey Cobb is in for the 7th. I will withhold my opinion on this choice.

Maybe I shouldn't hate on Cobb. In his last 5 games prior today he has pitched 13.2 innings & allowed 4 runs (2.63 ERA) on 14 hits, 2 walks & 15 strikeouts, lowering his ERA from 7.47 to 6.18.

Would be weird if BVB becomes a more viable prospect than Drohan. Think we're still a ways from that, though.

I think BVB has a chance as a bulk reliever, he doesn’t walk anyone and he gets enough strikeouts but he gives up a ton of hard contact. If you let him cut loose for 2 innings a time, maybe the stuff ticks up enough to be successful.

I guess we could see more Talavera? Of their 4 pitchers today he has thrown the most innings & the least pitches (39). Probably time to mix it up, though?
