That was quite possibly the angriest I've ever been during a wire to wire win.
1) The trip was right in front of TV Teddy and no call, not even a review.
2) Flip picked up fouls 5 and 6 on the Davis drive and not one was called. He could have shot somebody on 5th Avenue and they wouldn't have called him for a foul.
3) Cadeau's three was quite obviously a 3. Not sure how that's a 2 even after review.
4) The no call on Davis' three pointer in the first half.
5) The weak push off called on Ryan after they missed him being hit in the face before that.
6) When Cadeau dove for and saved a loose ball, and Filipowski dribbled it in the front court before moving across half and no over and back. That led to a 3 for Duke.
And those are just the obvious ones. There were plenty of weak calls basically every time Duke drove. Just pathetic officiating. Glad we got the win in spite of it.
Why did the UNC player put both his hands on filipowski’s back while filipowski was on the ground and the unc player was already standing up? Seems he initiated the contact
This can’t be a serious question. Balance? Maybe to be able to navigate around him without tripping over the player? filipowski took care of that though.
Balance? You’re allowed to just reach out and put both your hands on a player, either standing or even worse on the ground?
Should have been a foul call on UNC player
Because he was running down the court and bracing for Filipowski to stand up right in front of him? Why did FIlipowski lift up his leg to trip him?

Incidental contact. You see stuff like this happen in every game ever in every sport. Have you ever played sports before?
SEC commissioner wants the auto bids gone because UCLA and Syracuse went on Final Four runs from the First Four. They are so going to screw up the tournament.

I sense the NCAA puts a stand to save the tourney. I think they’ll punt CFB entirely (not like they have a choice) to save it.

Supreme Court has said they’d rule agains the ncaa - football is too big for them to fight against.
I may have misinterpreted your post. I read it as though football and basketball can’t co-exist under the ncaa umbrella.
#24 Dayton loses; A-10's next highest ranked team by NET is St. Bonaventure at 74. That probably pops someone's bubble.

Ironically, this probably means that Duke is going to be the 3 in the East, with Tennessee the 2 in the South... which means they'd come to Boston for the Sweet 16.
Alas, Duke won't be in the Sweet 16.
Also, I've never seen them win a tournament game. 0-3 lifetime. My record is approximately a billion and 1 in other venues.

NC State will have had to win five games in five days to win.. seems pretty crazy. Carolina will have won three games in three days. Seems like a lot for both teams.
Vermont with a narrow lead on UMASS-Lowell in the American East championship game in the second half. Vermont is the powerhouse of the American East, while UML have never made the tournament, and remains Massachusetts final hope in having a team in the tourney.
