I just want to talk about that holding call on Indy for a second, even though it's basically irrelevant now. It's that kind of call that killed me in the Pats game against Pittsburgh. It's not that the call was right or wrong. It's the timing and the inconsistency. If you're going to make that call, you have to make the ones against KC earlier in the game. If you're going to make that call, you can't all of a sudden decide to throw a flag for the first time at the biggest possible moment for Indy. Just like the Pats, who every time they would get something going, or get into the red zone against Pitt, the flag would come out. Indy finally had a little momentum, a good running play, and bang, the refs just eliminate the drive.

Why is Al ballwashing KC's D? Indy has failed to execute and had poor playcalling, as opposed to the Chiefs actually looking as impressive as they're being hyped on that front.

They were going to make sure they avoided that nightmare scenario of an AFC Championship Game at the StubHub Center.

The call was all kinds of wrong, end of story. NFL really should be held accountable for that call. Probably has minimal impact on the outcome but that call simply can't be made in any game at any time.

I wonder if Luck’s shoulder cannot handle the cold. He looks absolutely terrible. KC’s defense didn’t instantly become good.
Luck has thrown a ton of balls this year and hasn’t had a week off since October. Basically playing a do or die game each of the last two months as they started 1-5. That may also be a factor.

Luck is seriously lucky he hasn't fumbled/picked on every drive of this game.
