What's the longest streak for most playoffs in a row on tour....smells like one again today

That’s probably gonna be his total tournament score. Or close to it.

I’m rooting for any amateur who plays in these events. Same as Steph Curry last year.

In the iPad app there's no option to watch the video. Looks like others having issues too. Looks like it's browser time.

Now the question becomes - why are we watching Ben Crane and Angel Cabrera? Wtf?

Angel Cabrera (T193), Ben Crane (165)
Two veteran players are in this featured group. Cabrera owns two major championships (2007 U.S. Open, 2009 Masters), as well as the 2014 The Greenbrier Classic. Crane has won five times on the PGA TOUR, most recently at the 2014 FedEx St. Jude Classic.
Anytime you can feature 2 guys whose last wins were both in 2014, you have to do it right?

We've seen more Ben Crane shots than Spieth, DJ, and Phil combined. This is insane.

appears all 3 courses are playing pretty easy today with the top of the leaderboard represented at all locales

Andy Brickley's potty mouth
It's actually amazing how much Tiger had shaped my golf viewing habits. For example I can tell you everything about the tournament at Torrey because I'd always watch all 4 rounds there when Tiger played, but he never really played the Pro-Am so I'd just watch on the weekends or Sunday. I can tell you everything about PB itself because of my Sunday viewing and all of the majors.

Even now, I catch myself watching more of the traditional Tiger tournaments even though he hasn't played and lightly watching the rest. I need to change that.

coverage way better today with lots of big names on different courses....was worried we were going to see a ton of Beljan when the coverage started like too much Crane yesterday....

PS anyone just see that otter going to town on that crab just now - that was impressive

Sounds like Tiger may be adding the Valspar, a tournament he's never played, as part of his pre-Masters warmup. Looks like we may see him at least at Riviera, Bay Hill and PGA National before the Masters. Would be nice to see him as add Copperhead as a 4th.

That would make sense, he would essentially be replacing his normal WGC start.

The only concern I can see is that would have him playing 4 out of 5 weeks if he holds true to Honda and API. He does need reps and looks a million times healthier than he has in recent years though.

I'm already preparing my Ryder Cup hatred for Jon Rahm.

This has been an impressive round from Potter. Head to head with DJ, DJ 40 yards ahead off each tee, and Potter is just doing his thing.

Just fairways and greens and one stress free par after another. It's almost boring, and I mean that as a compliment to Potter.

Another fairway, another middle of the green approach. Impressive work by Potter here. Yawn.

DJ getting exasperated waiting for Day to tee off 18 is the highlight of the tournament for me.

Edit: other than the spectacular location. The Monterey Peninsula is my favorite place on earth.

If you had showed me a picture of Ted Potter Jr earlier this week and told me he was in the field I would have assumed he was one of the amateurs.

Worlds End
Streelman and Fitzgerald lap the field in the pro-am with a 7 shot win. May have to ask Larry Fitzgerald to post a few more scores before next year...
