Seems like at this point. Jacksonville DBs are just tackling the Pitt receivers on the snap. At least for this play.

At no point today did I ever think the Jags would win this game. It makes it much easier to accept the inevitable when it happens.

Hard to overstate the importance of having a front-line QB in today's NFL.

The Jags have Blake Bortles...enough said

The Jags could have let Bortles walk after last season and made a franchise crippling decision to bring him back. What an awful player Bortles is.
Clearly BB playing the long con by letting him light us up in the AFCCG.

I like that Reggie Wayne came out for the number retirement ceremony in a scooter---guess the whole 'walking out' thing was, like a Pats practice, too hard for him?

welcome to the 3 seed for now. anywhere from 2-4 is really in play right now.
The game in Pit is everything. If they had lost today but still beat NE, they move ahead of NE. But they win today and the Pats beat them, NE is ahead.

But still... always better to have rivals lose. Pit and Hou winning nail biters today don’t help.

And god I just saw the Alex Smith injury. I’d like to unsee that if possible please.

the sneaky thing is that with a better QB than Bortles, Jaguars reach and perhaps win the SB last year. Bortles missed some easy throws in that AFCCG.

welp, that's how the cookie crumbles.

PIT game was always going to mean everything but if PIT lost today and at NO, it could have ended up meaningless. no longer in play at this point.
