JA - I agree, France has looked like the class of the tournament.

DrewDawg said:So, it seems like China's defense gives all that room on the flank. Wouldn't that mean that cross should be flying in all night? And no Wambach?

Think China would be happy if we tried to launch crosses to a triple-teamed Wambach all night.

She's going to play a 4-4-2 and look to hoof the ball up to Wambach.
Rodriguez is better at holding up the ball than LeRoux. It's among the big roster weaknesses, we have a million speedy strikers, and nobody but Wambach who can hold up the ball. No Wambach is the correct call both based on form and opponent tactics.
Rodriguez instead of LeRoux is perplexing though, and I have no idea what they are doing in midfield.

Ed Hillel said:That was the worst miss I have ever seen.

Those ratings don't seem too accurate, they had Germany as a 72 percent favorite in today's game which was an obvious tossup in reality, and they seem to wildly overrate the US based on their play so far.
