LaMarcus Aldridge seems to hate playing Golden State
He looks rattled playing at this pace.
That Simmons dunk was incredible

You haven't. He is. He can be downright dominant in the half-court game.I don't think I've seen this Boban guy before. Dude is a monster
I mostly only watch the Celtics. I will need to watch more Boban in the future. How do the Spurs get these guys? It's amazing. You haven't. He is. He can be downright dominant in the half-court game.
Ugh. Horrible call and Boogie fouls out.Flying under the radar is a bananas game in Sacramento. Boogie with 56 points, Rondo with 20 assists, tied with Charlotte heading into a second OT.
More than likely spot on but with Karl and Divac you never know. The reality is that team is not built to win anytime soon and the West is a minefield for these guys. Even if they snag the eighth seed and face either San Antonio or the Warriors, the result is likely a first round bounce. If I am Danny I keep calling because even with back-to-back beast games, Cousins is one bench fit away from going at it with Karl. And if he can get Vlade to listen, you offer him the moon and the stars.Damn Boogie! I wish I had switched over from the GSW/SAS game sooner.
WCS looks like a great piece now. Vlade may have made a good selection. This draft looks like it will have a large number of above average players, better than lasts years draft for sure.
And come on Rondo, three more points for the triple double with 20 assists.
Boogie as player of the week before tonight. He isn't walking through our door...
That is such an asshole move. I know its old but it still pisses me off.Maybe it was this guy?
And Chris Paul was laughing right along. Perfect confirmation of the douchiness of these 2 guys. That is such an asshole move. I know its old but it still pisses me off.
Warms my heart.WCS!!!!
Oh please. Screwing around with an equipment manager who is a friend isn't uncommon at all. I can't repeat some of the things I know happened with Johnny Joe on the Celtics (probably cuz he lurks here) but these millionaires take REAL good care of the equipment guys and love playing pranks. And Chris Paul was laughing right along. So the decision on whether to reassign or fire the equipment manage will be made following the investigation?"At the conclusion of the investigation, appropriate action will be taken."
Yup. After they plant the leak Blake got upset because the guy is a holocaust denier or a klan member. So the decision on whether to reassign or fire the equipment manage will be made following the investigation?

We could use the Steiner.

I don't know anything about Blake but Paul's reputation where he is from in NC is that of an awesome guy and community leader. Feel free to paint him as a douche but it wouldn't be accurate.
He's already an impact player as a rookie.....very very rare. Since he's returned from his injury and had a chance to watch from the bench while digesting what is going on he's been a beast! WCS is a nightly double double with All-NBA level defense. This is such a sick draft class at the top......and of course we were on the outside looking in. Ugh.It makes me so sad watching Willie Cauley-Stein. Why can't he just be on the Celtics damn it!
Read this in Donald Trump's voice and it's so much better. He's already an impact player as a rookie.....very very rare. That doesn't make sense. Carmelo is an impact player on the Knicks as they are 0-6 without him this year and 22-19 with him.I don't think it is very very rare for a rookie to be an impact player 20-25 team.
Like, I know you love WCS and I know that he is playing well and that is great, but it isn't super rare for a high-first round draft pick to play 25 minutes per game of solid basketball his rookie season. KAT, the Zinger, Wislow, Mudiay, Okafor etc. are all doing the same exact thing this year. It is closer to being expected from a high pick than an anomaly. I also didn't know having two double-doubles the entire season earns you the label "Double-Double Machine."That doesn't make sense. The Kings without both Boogie and WCS healthy are 6-14......with both healthy are 14-11 including writhing 5 of 7 in this most recent stretch where WCS is a double double machine with lock down defense.
It is actually very rare for the 6th pick or any mid-lottery pick to have a major impact as a rookie......it's rare enough that they EVER become his player much less 30 games into their career.Like, I know you love WCS and I know that he is playing well and that is great, but it isn't super rare for a high-first round draft pick to play 25 minutes per game of solid basketball his rookie season. You're comparing him to players drafted in what I had last summer as one of the best if not the best draft class of all time. Last year was not your typical draft where a mid-lottery pick comes in and makes an impact as a rookie. Pull up picks 5-10 over the past 20 years and you'll this is not typical it is rare.So because WCS happened to be drafted coincidentally during a time when there had been some busts at the same spot over the last few years, it makes it very rare? That doesn't change the fact that what he is doing, is being done, by several other guys, in the same draft he was in.
I didn't know that the sixth pick was some cursed spot, but consider that the last five guys drafted 7th are: Ben McLemore, Harrison Barnes, Bismack Biyombo, Greg Monroe and Steph Curry, I don't think it is that rare for a guy drafted where he was drafted to contribute right away to a team, especially when you consider guys drafted behind him at 7 (Mudiay) 10 (Winslow) and 13 (Booker) are arguably outplaying him.
You've named some players having solid seasons here (Towns, Porzingis), and some of worst players in the NBA so far (Mudiay, Okafor). Your definition of "solid basketball" seems a bit broad to me.Like, I know you love WCS and I know that he is playing well and that is great, but it isn't super rare for a high-first round draft pick to play 25 minutes per game of solid basketball his rookie season. To be fair, Homerunbaker has a broad definition of very, very rare. You've named some players having solid seasons here (Towns, Porzingis), and some of worst players in the NBA so far (Mudiay, Okafor). Your definition of "solid basketball" seems a bit broad to me.
That said, Stein is 22. Comparing him to the pool of 19 year old rookies seems wrong to me.
ESPN reviving FOX TRAX!
BRISTOL, Conn. (AP) -- The 3-point line will virtually light up during Saturday prime-time NBA broadcasts on ABC this season.
ESPN said Thursday that it is using new technology to show viewers when a player attempts a jumper from beyond the 3-point arc. ''ESPN Virtual 3'' will debut for Saturday's matchup between the Cavaliers and Spurs.
For a made 3-pointer, the line will briefly remain lit up. For a miss, the illumination will end immediately.
Senior coordinating producer Tim Corrigan says ''it will give viewers instant clarity on whether a 3-point shot has been attempted, which hasn't been consistently evident during a live telecast.''
