What I do know is that saying Tatum has noticeably stopped whining and complaining compared to previous years is absolute bullshit. He still whines and complains too much. Is it as bad as Draymond or LeBron? Fuck no. He’s way better than them but it’s still too much because he still keeps getting techs

Not that he doesn’t still whine to the point of distraction, and not that it seems to have ramped up a bit as the season has gone on, but it still doesn’t feel close to how it sometimes used to get. Felt like he routinely missed entire defensive possessions gesticulating under the other baseline.

Nesmith was the “safe” version as a high draft pick, and as mikeford mentioned we kept Tatum’s bff Javonte Green over Strus.
But the refs don't T up LBJ or Dray or numerous others. So that is JT fault he is getting Ts for LESS histrionics vs LBJ et al? ... or maybe the refs who wont versus LBJ or Dray. To be fair they are likely scared Dray chokeholds them! haha.
Overall, I agree, focus more on the game and what one can control. But there is a point where the Ts don't match the actions vs the rest of the NBA. Plus this one, he was like chirping while playing D. Ref is just embarrassed, boo hoo.
