Belt high, middle-in, 92 mph, not much movement. Awful, awful pitch.

Batters vs Luis Severino Pitches 1-25 This Season:It's like Christmas for hitters on Luis Severino days.
I'm up for another season of exploiting the market inefficiency of "Catchers who are really good at twisting their gloves but can't hit high school pitching to save their lives."Speaking of Christmas, Happy Cashman Will Return Day.
I'm curious why you are sure of this. Besides defense, what separates him from Casas? As if BAL isn't loaded enough with young talent, Gunnar Henderson now looks like he will win ROY going away and get them yet another first round pick and more draft pool money.
Haha, besides offense, what separates Judge from Verdugo?I'm curious why you are sure of this. Besides defense, what separates him from Casas?
I was just curious.Henderson is already one of the best defensive SSs in baseball and seems to be getting better every day, 3.4 bWAR in 367 ABs and 1.5 of that is since the last time I checked in early July. Casas is hitting great and also getting better as the season progresses,, but because he has a -5 DRS to Henderson's 11 and where they are on the defensive spectrum, he only has a 1.2 bWAR in 325 ABs.
I thought a walk was as good as a home run. Doesn’t look like itMets enter the record books

And the Mets scored all 3 in one inning. 26/27 innings without scoringJust a quick recap of the three games the Braves and Mets have played the last two days
Braves - 32
Mets - 3
At least they have a plan! And the Mets scored all 3 in one inning. 26/27 innings without scoring
I mean, they do. If they lose enough to get a top six draft pick (after the lottery), then their first round pick is not moved back ten spots this year as it would be otherwise. It's not the plan they had a few months ago, but it's most definitely a plan.At least they have a plan!
I'm being mostly facetious, but sure, they have a plan. I guess, to me, a real plan is something that is a longer term road map, not something that changes every half season. Or maybe that's the difference between a strategy and a plan.I mean, they do. I think the plan to an extent has remained constant since the 2021 deadline, after they got burned very badly trading Pete Crow-Armstrong (now a top 20 prospect in MLB) for a two month Javy Baez rental. Since then, their 'plan' is to spend unlimited amounts on MLB players but not to touch the farm system and this deadline they even added a twist by selling off veterans to speed up the farm system's maturation.I'm being mostly facetious, but sure, they have a plan. Mariners had a great chance in the 8th as well.Kirby is a stud.
And Bautista goes two innings strong. Both Seattle and Baltimore’s closers top out at 102. Have the Red Sox ever had someone throw that hard? Where can we find them?
