Wow, this is insane. Okafor is not an NBA player. Bradley is a really good NBA player.I'd probably trade him for Okafor too. Bradley is injured a lot, and his contract is coming up. He'll want 17 million a year or more. No thanks.

Why is that insane? How many games as AB missed this year and look at the C's record. I'm more inclined to think the C's would have been better with Okafor over Bradley in those games. The C's big men are super garbage, and Okafor is at least still coachable, and may respond to a winning environment instead of Philly loserville.Wow, this is insane. Okafor is not an NBA player. It seems pretty obvious that any deal for George that includes a Brooklyn pick is only happening if he agrees to sign an extention to stay in Boston.Don't trade for George if he wants to be in LA
It is insane because Okafor is the worst regular NBA player in the league (or second worst, I guess, but we're splitting hairs at that point). Why is that insane? You say this like it will be easy, or a given he will come to Boston, which is definitely not so. If that were the case today would be stress free. They can also just sign Gordon in FA and keep everything. You also don't necessarily need Crowder if you have him + everything else, so you can trade him for a big in the off season.
Yeah, hard to see a deal with Philly that includes AB that makes sense for the C's without Embiid, Simmons, or Philly's 1st rounder coming this way -- which of course is not going to happen.Philly apparently wanted Avery Bradley. No dice.
I want to know about the "monster" DEN proposal for PG.It's going to be fun to read about the proposals that Ainge turned down today.
It would behoove Paul George to stay in Indiana so that he can keep the option open to sign a massive extension with the DPE. Same reason Demarcus wanted to stay in Sacramento. It's all posturing. Two minutes later ...

These kinds of things can change, but that is the strong Paul George message being sent around the NBA regarding how he sees his situation.
Umm because one is an excellent NBA player and the other is pure garbage. Even if the decision is to trade Bradley you don't dump him for garbage, you package him for a star or you move him for someone who is actually a basketball player. Why is that insane? Considering it was rumored to include neither Jokic nor Murray it was a "monster deal" in quantity not quality. It screams leak to tell fans we tried real hard to do something, but really was never something the other team even would consider.I want to know about the "monster" DEN proposal for PG.
Seems like to me teams are asking for a lot more from the celtics and then trading guys for nothing to other teams which really sucksYeah, hard to see a deal with Philly that includes AB that makes sense for the C's without Embiid, Simmons, or Philly's 1st rounder coming this way -- which of course is not going to happen.
On the plus side, Philly probably wasn't asking about AB for themselves -- he'll be expensive or gone before the Sixers are respectable. They likely see AB as an asset they could flip for a lottery pick or a solid young player. That's obviously good for us.
Now I'm just conflicted ... although the card doesn't specify where PG is tradedPaul George to Boston for Bingo.
The same is being reported about Okafor, much to the consternation of the Lakers.
Exactly, which as a Nugget fan, I'm fine with. I wouldn't trade Jokic or Murray for George as he doesn't put them into serious contention and Jokic and Murray are the future. I would trade any other combination, though, but I don't think there's enough there to entice Indy.Considering it was rumored to include neither Jokic nor Murray it was a "monster deal" in quantity not quality. Where the hell have you been? The same is being reported about Okafor, much to the consternation of the Lakers.
The idea was if was for them--that he would guard the opposition's PG but Simmons would play PG on offense. On the plus side, Philly probably wasn't asking about AB for themselves -- he'll be expensive or gone before the Sixers are respectable. I got really into the Cubs this season and didn't make it to many gamethreads.Where the hell have you been?
Maybe Bird's holding out for Stevens in a PG tradeGiven that the C's bigs are garbage, their swingmen can't shoot, and their PG is hero ball ISO specialist, I'm surprised they've managed to play .350 ball, nevermind the .650 they have actually played. Stevens must be one hell of a coach.
Where's his posse?!?
The watch in that emoji reads 4:00 o'clock, WHAT DOES IT MEAN??Paul George to Boston for Bingo.
Our long national nightmare is overNo George.

Indiana has passed on trade offers for Paul George and All-Star forward will remain with the Pacers, league sources tell @TheVertical.
Please tell me this is sarcasm.Given that the C's bigs are garbage, their swingmen can't shoot, and their PG is hero ball ISO specialist, I'm surprised they've managed to play .350 ball, nevermind the .650 they have actually played. Stevens must be one hell of a coach.
Ainge has probably offered the MIN 2nd. Could get done @ last minute.
At least three teams have said no to giving up a first-round pick for PJ Tucker - New Orleans, Cleveland and Boston.
I think you're forgetting about the four months of imaginary trade scenarios to come between now and draft night...Our long national nightmare is over
Cue 3-4 people telling you that's a good idea for Boston.Maybe Bird's holding out for Stevens in a PG trade
Is my sarcasm detector broken?Given that the C's bigs are garbage, their swingmen can't shoot, and their PG is hero ball ISO specialist, I'm surprised they've managed to play .350 ball, nevermind the .650 they have actually played. Stevens must be one hell of a coach.
Boo this man.Paul George is coming to Boston for this year's Nets pick and Bradley. Not yet confirmed but per a friend with some legitimate inside knowledge (which cannot be disclosed...sorry)
