I think I'm going to embrace the "Pats the best, we'll beat whomever, so F the results" philosophy.
Right now KC is looking at the scoreboard knowing that they got a real good shot at a bye if they win. If they can't beat SD in that scenario, they ain't that good. KC is still the second-most-feared team in the AFC by most after the Steelers, but I think that says a lot more about Miami and Houston than it does about KC.
If KC loses a game this important to them to the Chargers, do you really find them that worrisome?
I feel like KC is being feared simply because they suck less than some other teams, but I've never understood it. Especially when they have to go on the road.

SD's main MO this year is to shoot their wad in the first half or so and then give it up in the 4th quarter.

Maybe I didn't see it correctly, but looked like McGloin took a helmet to the chin and I thought the personal foul on the punt return was bullshit. He was barely out of bounds and I wouldn't expect tacklers to see that.
