the Indians' position was always very precarious. that's why Terry has gone for every win he can. Tomlin/Bauer were due to have the starts they did in the past two days.

nice one Javier.

Buck Buckgasms on just about every ball that comes off the bat. He was never this bad before or maybe I was so focused on the horror that was McCarver that I didn't notice it. Meanwhile, I think Smoltz has developed into one of the best color guys around.
Buck has definitely gotten more over the top. He was once a decent announcer.

I listen to Joe Buck and hear a guy that just doesn't dig baseball that much; he always seems bored by it to me. Doesn't geek out on what's actually happening, wants to reference the "buzz" on things and make lame Costas-lite jokes.

But I'll take it if it means getting Smoltz. He might be my favorite color guy ever already.

Hard to get it up for baseball after the high of hair plugs.

I would pay good money to listen to Smoltz and Pedro talk pitching for a couple hours
