Bortles is pretty good when the weather is perfect or when they play indoors. Unfortunately for Blake, the weather is uncharacteristically bad today in Jacksonville.
I'll say it again. The Jags have to come out in the 2nd half and hand the ball off to Fournette over and over and over again. If the Bills stop him from getting 10 yards on 3 plays, punt it away, but I think he can get 10 yards every 3 carries. It's the only way they'll move the ball today.

I’m 56 years old. Think it’s too late for me to become QB of the Jags? Willing to drink concussion water if need be.
I don't think so, he didn't get to the marker and even if he did the ball was likely OOB already.

Yesterday Gurley only got 14 carries (for something like 105 yards). Nothing like ignoring your bellcow RB when your QB is hot garbage.

You can’t do this in NFL today, even with line superiority. Some modicum of passing is essential.
Let’s see what Bortles can do in these last 40 seconds. If he chokes again, Marrone knows what he has to do.
Only chance he had for the first was to stop and hope the DB would go flying by. That’s probably not in a TE’s repertoire though.

I disagree. It's exactly how they beat Pittsburgh in October. Just ran it down their throat. Bortles completed 8 passes for 95 yards, and Fournette ran for 186 on 28 carries.
The only safe play for either team is to just have the QB tuck and run. Anything else is potentially disastrous.

EDIT: Of course, yes, it was more the officials, so bad phrasing on my part. Just meant, team was doing nothing then score late and possibly get momentum.
