Going outside to walk the dog. I expect a lot of concern on the faces of my neighbors. On some level, I take solace in the fact I don't have a strong rooting interest in these playoffs so I guess thank you, BB!

Bills kicked it through the end zone last year in "13 seconds" right? So can't really say squibbing is wrong. At some point you have to defend.

And yet I’m always amazed at the ballet - acrobatics players manage to execute to not hit punters.

So I hear you. But I’m confused.
On that play, he really had to try to get as low as Geno. Seems like simply diving over him would not be difficult.

First pass theory is that ST PFs are higher-leverage and the players in question have less job security.

Purdy definitely looking like a rookie today. If he didn't have elite weapons in an elite system playing behind an elite line he would be looking really bad. Could have easily been picked off twice and was late on a number of throws. His best pass was probably the one that got deflected last second preventing a TD. The backwards roll to the sideline is going to get him killed though.

Mixed bag for Purdy in the first half, but honestly SF can't be too upset with the offense.

249 yards, 16 points, 0 turnovers. That's more than enough against Seattle, but the D has been oddly bad.

This game has a feel like it could be one of those games that gets decided by whether a team makes or unsuccessfully chase the two point play.
