Interesting game tonight. Chiefs coming off a home loss to Pittsburgh, going to an Oakland team that has lost four in a row. Season is kind of on the brink here for Oakland. They have looked awful, Carr is still recovering from his injury. Desperate team tonight. I think KC has won something like 5 straight in this series. I think they bounce back and take care of business tonight.

The Raiders are apparently starting Navarro Bowman tonight.

KC should win this game handily, fat Andy has been DelRio’s nemesis, but it is a kitchen sink/save their jobs game for Raiders’ coaches and we are going to scream our faces off tonight, so expect a tight game.

It is supposed to start raining in the second half, which will mean the Coliseum field is a giant mud puddle by the end.

First of all, congrats on the rain ... hope it helps

Secondly, what does rain do to the patches of sod they use over the diamond? I can't imagine it's a pretty sight

I'm very interested to see whether Pittsburgh exposed some ways to defend the KC offense that other teams can capitalize upon. Pitt has a talented young defense but they're not the 2000 Ravens and they absolutely shut down an offense that previously had been stomping everybody.

This might not be the game to test this idea, given that its a short week and that teams tend to do less opponent-specific preparation. But I'm still curious to see how the KC offense looks.

Beat em good up front and turned them one dimensional. KC only ran 25% of the time and averaged -0.07 yards before first contact. Pressure on 41% of dropbacks on Smith and he was bad when under pressure. Kelce was a non-factor, 4 catches on 6 targets and blacked until late in the 4th quarter, bit not sure why.

Was surprised Pitt was as effective as they were against the run but, while their offense has been disappointing, the Steelers pass defense looks really legit. Pass defense 4th by DVOA and 2nd in adjusted sack rate. Interested to see how they fare against the Pats later this year given Brady's recent history against that defense.

Yup, agreed on just about everything. Pitt has gotten killed in the running game a few times this season so it was surprising to see them defend the run so well.

What I still cant believe is how horrible Cooper has played this season. Its literally like he was kidnapped and replaced with a body double.

jesus, there have been a lot of calls on 3rd down this year - for many teams - where it just seems like the refs decide before the snap that the drive is going to continue.

Why even play the games when the officiating decides them all?

Lynch ran onto the field and put his hands on a referee; he's looking at a suspension.

Best part of that melee was Lynch throwing on and snapping his helmet up as he sprinted into field... as if no one would ever notice he wasn't on the field originally

espn: Team turmoil? The Raiders, in as close to a must-win scenario as they've seen since returning to national relevance, have to deal with a potentially explosive locker room dynamic. Because after Marshawn Lynch was kicked out of the game for making contact with an official, he reportedly left the stadium before halftime and may need to explain to the Raiders if he was defending his quarterback, or his Oakland friend Marcus Peters, the Chiefs CB who hit Carr late. Then, Donald Penn and Michael Crabtree were reportedly pushing each other on the sidelines, per the CBS broadcast.
