edit: watching the replay more, it really is an incredible play. Oline lets him go and he takes 3 steps upfield, realizes whats going on, drops 2 steps back and picks the ball. Very athletic and smart.

Driving is usually called when a guy throws the QB down, that was just Richardson's momentum carrying through the tackle, and when the tackle started Rivers had barely gotten the ball out.
