Anyone watching this kid try to be an NFL quarterback, with this field awareness, this footwork, and his questionable arm, and saying he’s not the problem is lost. Your QB is supposed to be a leader. He’s not. I don’t mind watching them lose a lot, but it sucks watching your team’s quarterback be a complete loser.

Thats a typical Mac pass. You can complain about the protection all you want, but he had some time, waited, and then tried to fling it off his back foot. I can barely throw a sprial but can tell Mac’s mechanics constantly look like ass.
It's insane how much he throws fading away for a guy with fringe arm talent. He is a guy who needs to be on a solid base all the time, but he's routinely throwing changeups falling off the pass.

Mac Jones is juuuuuust good enough to make you wait for him to take the extra step ..and before you know it, 5 years have gone by and he still hasn't improved.

So. Look...

I'm cool with losing to the Cowboys. But when I walked into the game, I told myself that the Cowboys are the kind of team to smash shitty teams but average teams can play them tight.

If the Patriots get rolled tonight, this team is done. Like, for the season. I'm not a Doom and gloomer, but this game is a good barometer of just how bad this team is.

So far, they're looking like a 6 win team.
Take is hot

It’s almost the middle of the second quarter and we have 3 points.

Mac defenders: how many more times do you need to see this?
I’ll bite. Because ive routinely said I’m not defending mac so much as just saying I don’t think there is a qb who isn’t bound for the hall of fame that would have consistent success with what macs dealt with the last 21 games. Are there qbs that would have more? Sure. But we’d still be complaining that the offense isn’t good enough. and that in the first three games this season there have been issues that are more glaring than mac.
That said, his negative plays today have been extremely bad.

He’s in his own head now, after that missed 4th and 1 run and the fumble.
but wtf BillyO? Why sneak on that 4th down? Throw it or run Zeke.
Just screwed up the rhythm of the offense

I don’t see 6 wins with their remaining schedule. It’s brutal.

So we stick with him until when?

We are seeing why Jones dropped in the draft to the Pats. I wonder how thing would have gone if BB was told to take him.
Everyone taken ahead of him sans TL has been worse, all the QB's in that draft ended up sucking outside of the #1

If I'm the Krafts, I'd be thinking BB is flat out delusional about this team he's built after taking the FG on 4th down.

Here
I think that might have been a Pick 6 by Judon if it wasn’t batted down
