For good reason. The number of flags thru week 3 was very substantially up through the same period last year. It is unwatchable at times.
We need a thread on "You're an NFL owner. Are we at an NFL peak, and what's your 10 year plan if so?"

Are team values likely to continue to go up? If not, do you milk the next 2-5 years for all they're worth then get rid of the team?

Best three throws, now. I think a gold bar just aappeared in Weedens pants.

Yup. Just as I post that these games have been meh Weeden makes the two best throws of the night.
Well you're not wrong, the last few min aren't making up for the meh.

This is too much time for Brees. Dallas still loses this game in regulation.

But today brought the first effing time I ever saw a WR tackle himself by running into the shoulder of a DB, only to have the DB flagged for unnecessary roughness.
Hahahah that call was so bad. DB legit didn't even make a tackling attempt guess he was supposed to apparate.

How is Rob Ryan employed still?

It was like Weeden thought it was and goal. Made for an exciting play but the level of difficulty was way higher than it needed to be.

That TO would be pretty handy right now.
Unless Dallas calls it for you?  Would've been nice to force them to run up to the line to spike it, no?

Stupid of Dallas to use the TO's. Make the Saints try and hurry to get the spike, their best shot is a cluster fuck resulting in a procedure penalty and a run off.

they had plenty of time, if dallas doesn't call timeout they can run it down to 5 seconds and spike it

First thing I'd do as NFL owner is tell my coach he's not making clock management decisions, good lord these timeout calls are so terrible.
