You just lament wins?
I get the poster's sentiment. Both we and Mac should be renting, not buying.

That said as long as he is QB1, 2 or whatever in NE, I am rooting for him to succeed and there are paths where he leads a team to winning imo. I know others have completely ruled it out but in my experience there is no one single way to do things.

Seems fair to me. Sadly though, I do not think he is the guy to even offer a long-term lease. He had a narrow window or opportunity to be a top 8 or 10 qb, with him likely settling around 15-20. He is just too inconsistent to overcome the lack of a strong arm.

I understand the sentiment, but saying “we might have cost ourselves a better qb with this ‘win’” doesn’t sound like not rooting for losses. If you’re upset about winning-not about looking bad despite winning, that’s different-then you are rooting for losses. Just own it if that’s the case

On the plus side, no turnovers and no sacks. On the negative side, the team has still scored fewer points in three games than Miami put up in three quarters today…

That caveat is doing virtually all of the work in this take.
Exactly. I'm just saying, 100% ignoring the stakes and focusing just on the likelihood of a team that sorry who was that badly outplayed pulling a win out of their asses in that manner ... it had to be right up there. Heat of the moment / recency bias (plus bonus points for losing Games 1 and 2 the way the Pats did) made me say #1, but I'm comfortable with "right up there." Thankfully, it's academic. :)

I’m starting to wonder if Zach’s playing like he’s being coached. He’s making choices that are not intuitive to the quarterback position.

Encouraged is not the right word. Today didn’t move the needle for me. But I think they should be favored in 9 more games.
I was encouraged, yes. In bad weather against a stout, ball hawking D they did not turn the ball over. Winning ugly is still winning, and this team learning how to win is encouraging.

Also a plus that Miami has scored 106 points in the 2 games they didn't play the Pats and 24 when they did play them.

.
The fun part is reading this in Namaths speaking voice and hearing him make “intuitive” into a 9 syllable word with a big vocal fry spike in the middle
